Tonights line up

I don't expect there will be any major changes to the side that was named except for whether Vella plays or not. I cringed when I heard McKinnon was playing last week but to be fair I thought he was pretty impressive at fullback. I'd prefer to see Burty on the wing or at fullback but he'll be better for the run in the centres last week and i'm expecting him to have more of an impact on tonights game. Wouldn't be surprised to see Burty bag a try or two as he's well overdue.

Hindy & Caylo will be rested up after the heavy work load of last weekend and expect them to be back to their absolute best tonight.

Johnny Morris will also be out to prove that he's too good a player to be overlooked for the country side selected this weekend.

I think Thorman will definitely grab a spot on the bench tonight and it could be the beginning of something very special indeed. Everyone is anxious to see how the pommie performs in first grade and I don't expect him to dissapoint.

If Vella is fit to play I think Muspratt or Tsoulos will drop off the bench.

We needed something more in attack last week and hopefully Thorman can offer us a bit of spark somewhere in the game. McKinnon was solid at fullback last week but consistency has been his problem in the past. Vella in the side is a boost for confidence at the least.

Centres are too isolated thats why i dont want Burt playing there. Parramatta centres are even more isolated since Wagon is the 5/8.

I think that this line up would do well tonight:

1.Burt
2.Grothe
3.Langi
4.Wagon
5.Grothe
6.Muspratt
7.Dykes
8.Stapleton
9.Morris
10.Peek
11.Hindmarsh
12.Cayless
13.Widders

14.Thorman
15.Armit
16.Vella
17.Tsoulos

It will be interesting to see just how Thorman will be used if indeed he does play. He could slot into 5/8, half or hooker with Wagon, Dykes & Morris all possibly shifting to accomodate him.

You're right, our centres have barely seen the ball since 2001.

looking at our centres now, maybe that's not so bad

could there be a chance of burty and wagon swapping roles throughout the game?

Apparently Thorman is a definite for the bench tonight and there was a fitness test over Mick V (not sure of the result)

I realy hope Thorman fires as i know he can, he has been Londons single greatest loss.
