Tony Williams - Easily contained

It is difficult to remember a more hyped forward being picked for an Origin side.

Never once did we see Williams take a tough hit-up for his side when they needed, and nor were his runs of much consequence after being well contained by multiple Queensland tackler.

A modern day W. Mason.

He was used wrongly by Stuart

Stuart had him running inside lines, he runs better straight or outside lines...as he does he so well for manly and did for Australia last year

Was still difficult to contain but not as effective as he could be

Yeah he didn't get the ball in space at all. Every time he got it he was forced to run sideways to build up momentum.

Easily?? youre off your head, ref!

Stuart didnt use him how he should have, but T-Rex is one tough hombre to contain, he was throwing blokes away like they were made of paper.

he was still damaging, needed a lot of work to stop. he was used wrongly overall, if we had halves that could set him up with space and one on ones he would have been lethal.

Ah yes, the good old "he's shit because he had one poor game" line from a Queenslander. Never heard that one before. They had no idea how to handle him in game 1.

Never once did we see him running full steam on to a short ball or even being used as a decoy, most if the time he got the ball he was flatfooted or taking one out hit ups. The real problem is we had no props on the bench to maintain the platform that Tamou and Grant established, in the end T Rex was being used as a battering ram alot of the time

Well it would of helped if he got the ball in better situations. Each run he had he had to start then stop, run sideways etc. didn't use him as a decoy running full pace or never gave him the ball at pace or in some room, needs to be better utilized in the future.

He was poorly used, like pretty much all the bench the whole series. Ricky may have brought back the passion but he isn't a coach's arsehole.

In saying that, it was probably his fault for standing flat from the play the ball. Which is exactly where a forward stands when they don't want the ball and are dogging it.

That run he did 2m in from the sideline was one of the best brainsnaps of the match...

That was actually good to see, he got the ball and ran straight and hard. It was just an absolutely brilliant tackle by cronk that stopped him. 99/100 that's a good run. Was moreso great play by cronk to poor by Williams

 Gave a loud cheer when we actually took the bloke to ground.

Not his best game, positioning was poor, defence was lazy but Cronk had him well marked. Seemed to be offside at times too Cronk.
