Too late in the season, but the side looks good

We have had two fair games against the Warriors and the Raiders since Johns dropped out, but it is too late in the season for us to develop a new style of play to get us through the big games ahead.
Despite the fact that we can't win this year, it is good to see we can still play good football without Johns.
Our last 3 or maybe 4 games will be good morale boosters for next season, when we will no doubt have to do without Johns again in some games.

Newcastle looked good yesterday against the Raiders... we put some pressure on them, however their defence was brilliant.... I think if their defence was down we would have won.

The team was looking good until Mark Hughes was ruled out for the season with a neck injury, very similar to the one suffered by Andrew Johns, and previously by Adam Woolnough, although Mark hughes' injury is not as serious as the one suffered by Andrew Johns.
