1. A-Ha Take on Me.
A song that you either love or hate, but a fantastic video. Apparently the whole video was shot, and then projected frame by frame onto a wall to be traced over in graphic pencil for the animation. A logistical nightmare, but an excellent result.
2. Michael Jackson Smooth Criminal.
Although you could choose from about a dozen MJ videos, this one stands out for me. Some of the best choreographed dance routines you will ever see as Jackson burns up the floor in the days before he went nuts.
3. Coldplay The Hardest Part.
Awesome video sees a Don Johnson insipred Chris and the Coldplay gang spliced into an eighties TV talk show, featuring a semi-naked 25 year old guy and 84 year-old woman. Hilarity follows to the astonishment of the crowd (average age: 65). The fact that it is also Coldplay's best ever song (don't lie it is) makes it one for the record books.
