We could be in the top four on Monday night if things fall our way...

Pretty big if.......but after the injuries and so on & so forth we have had a I Reckon Sheens has done really well his year

If we sneak into top 4 ( or even 5) (and finish 4 or 5 ) what mark would you give .....

Makes it hard to criticise him when we get to the finals two years in a row. But....f**k, some of his selection this year has been terrible as well as positional selections and I still disagree with some of his directives on how certain players should play.

Still want him out the door asap and a fresh change in the club. Four or five wins in a row and a couple of seasons in the finals can't mask what has been a terrible last give years since 05.

Should've been contesting the minor premiership.

IF we get 4th it's good based on how poor we were earlier in the season but it's still not good enough.

Agree with SC. I still want fresh blood in the coach's box.

Some of you will never be happy

Seriously mate, do you just want us to happily accept mediocre results for the majority of the season when we should always be near the top?

Some of us actually give a shit and don't just blindly accept stupid decisions.

It's called caring.

I can't see us moving into the top 4 but if we do it would be a huge effort.

I have one issue with Sheens and that is team selections. When he gets that right he is a great coach. The problem is when he gets it wrong it can go real bad - Johnny Cronk is the best example.

The way I read it, if the Warriors (V Panthers) lose & we win by 24 pts, we will be 4th?
IMO, with the injuries we have had this year, it is to hard to judge Sheens efforts, though I certainly agree some of his decisions are strange, but I am a long way away from the inner circle to know the reasons why?

It's not just about McKinnon. It's the whole Moltzen the utility thing... Find a position for him or leave him at home - it's that simple.

It's also about Morris, Fitzhenry, Harrison, recruitment, bench use...
a whole lot of things for me, his inner sanctum.....

4th place was a pass mark for me at the start of the season but really thought we were a chance of the minor premiership. Injuries, poor form and dumb team selections put a end to that. Considering where we were at a couple of months ago I think 6th 5th or 4th will be a good result.

As for the final series I think we could go out pretty quickly, you cant have Payten and Mckinnon on the bench, Moltzen will be targeted and if Utai is still in the team,he will leak points and of course Sheens will not change anything unless their injuried.

To be fair to Sheens McKinnon looked like a great pick-up. He hasn't been. Also with regards to Moltzen I figure he is a much better option than McKinnon at 1 but he hasn't been great so Sheens is sort of hoping one of them will play half decent for the rest of the season.

That's the thing. We have so much brilliance in the side that we can afford to carry a few players (Moltzen/Lui/Mckinnon/Payten). It's not ideal, but what side is the complete package?

So at (or just after) the start of the season Sheens loses the left side attack (one of the game's most lethal and both Australian reps) for the majority of the season...auguably the best backrower in the game for half the season..Farah carrying a groin injury the whole season...plus Fulton..Galloway..McKinnon Payten..Heighington taking turns at being out a month or more at a time plus throw in a few weeks out for Marshall...all that and we should still be in the frame for the minor premiership huh...and just why /how could the tigers have contested the minor premiership?..how was Melbourne's star player injury toll this year?..how 'bout Manly's? ...Dragons??

Criticism where it is due though, we should have been playing semi final football every year since 05. Our achievements have been more due to the playing roster than coaching brilliance, and I wonder how far we would have gone under a Wayne Bennett or similiar who did not try and change everyones position and stick with his favourites who are not 1st grade standard.
