Ridiculous idea. Not enough legitimate clubs/ competitions to justify having a top 50.

I think you should offer more consideration to Second Tier Australian clubs such as the Newtown Jets, North Sydney Bears and near all the Qld Cup clubs. I think many Jim Beam Cup clubs would also fare well in comparison to National League 2 clubs.

Perhaps also think about including the top SP Cup clubs, the Celtic Crusaders and perhaps the top Russian teams.
Although in saying all this I have no idea how your points index works.

They say thet the New York City Knights are 46th out of 50 best clubs in the world. They were not even in top four best teams in the AMNRL last year. They won the comp. three years ago, and have never been the same. Since then the Wildcats won 1 grand final and the Bulls won 1 grand. With both the Wildcats and Bulls met each other in the last two grand finals. I hope thats a joke.

York City Knights are an English team who won the Second Division last year and will be vying for top flight status in Div 1 this year.

That was my mistake, in that I read the list to fast. I had thought it said New York City Knights. In my opinion no AMNRL club should be in the top 50 clubs in the world.

I agree with the some of the above posts, in that I'd tend to be placing stand along premier league sides like the Bears, as well as Queensland Cup side and top Jim Beam Cup sides above National League 1 and 2 sides.

Would definitely put Q-land Cup, Jim Beam cup, Primeire League sides up before National League sides.

Do National Leagues sides even get paid?

Widnes are paying David Peachey enough to make it worthwhile for him to play in NL1. Hull KR and Widnes have snapped up some of the best kids being released from the likes of Wigan and Leeds.

If there wasn't a limit of one import per team, I'd expect there would be quite a few more former NRL players running around in NL1.

The Welsh side in NL2 have signed some decent players such as Michael Ryan and Matt Jobson.

If you don't even know that some national league sides are full tim, never mind getting paid, how can you have any idea if Q-land Cup, Jim Beam cup and Primeire League side are better?

Qld cup sides would be on a par with premier league and national league 1 it's fair to say that some could feel agreived as to why they aren't there, but as stated earlier you don't know the formula.

Also most of the Premier league clubs and Qld Cup teams are reserve grade sides for NRL clubs saying this the National League 1 and 2 clubs are very much stand alone.
