I feel embarrassed to be a Broncos fan today, what i've seen is total lack of heart spirit and skills.
These young blokes need to stand up and be countered or bugger off. We faced a Roosters side that has been limping along and got hammered.
Our defence was a disgrace, the right hand side might as well have sat around and had a tea party because they were like a bunch of pansies. Tuqiri and Kelley held up their end well on the right. Word of advice to Burns and Devere: Your not spectators and yes you won't be hassled by security if you attempt to tackle Phillips.
There is so obviously no combination between Lockyer and Walters, neither of them had a clue what the other was up to seeing passes go the wrong way, backline movements stuffed up and kicking options throwen out the window.
The Roosters couldn't kick a ball to save themselves in the first half with nearly everything going over the dead ball line or being a total blunder yet we spent the last 20 mins cemented in our half because of stupid penalties and bad handling.
Fittler needed a pair of croutches and he still walked all over us, at times i wondered if it was invasion of the body snatchers. It was painful to watch and this is not the Brisbane Broncos.
We have now lost three in a row. Against the Bulldogs we got out to a 12 point lead early on and were carving them up from left to right. We let them back in and don't let the scoreline fool you, a late comeback didn't hide a drubbing in a pittiful display.
We then went to Melbourne and went out to an early lead and once again were carving them up from left to right and we let them right back into it. We let them right back into it and then some. Then we just exploded and went out to a lead that should of seen us turn the storm in to a mere drizzle. Our defence once again fell to its knees.
Our defence has been a rock in recent years, last year we had the best defensive record in the comp now we are letting in 30 points a game. Say goodbye to our final chances, at this rate we'll be out on our arses first week of the finals. They better lift their game against the saints next week because we could just see ourselves on the verge of not making the semis.
