Which dumbass scheduled the games?

If 1 and 2 win, as expected, the teams for the last two games may as well not turn up - it'll be exactly the same matchup win or lose.

Assuming teams 1 and 2 win their games, then if team 3 don't win their game, then they become Loser 1, and will play the third ranked winner (team 4), so that match-up would be different to the first week.

Similarly if team 4 don't win their game (but team three does), they become Loser 1, and will play the third ranked winner (team 3), so that match-up will be different to the first week.

If both teams 3 and 4 lose, then team 3 (loser 1) would face team 5 (winner 3) and team 4 (loser 2) would face team 6 (winner 4) then next week, so they are also differentg match-ups.

It's only if both teams 3 and 4 win that their match-ups will indeed be the same the next week - provided teams 1 and 2 have won their first week games as well.
