Thunder should be scary good. Finally got a low post presence with Kanter, a very good back up PG(who played with KD in college) and two 3pt shooters. Their only wekness now is Scott Brooks.

Miami should be pretty good too if Wade can stay healthy, I like Dragic a lot.

KJ to Houston is interesting, a lot of good defenders in Houston now, I just read on another forum that Philly has 17 future picks from other teams, lol wtf.

That starting 5 for Miami is legit but obviously all depends on Wades health.

Bucks gave away Knight cause they knew they would have had to pay up big for him, interesting to see how he and Bledsoe go together at the Suns.

Im still trying to get my head around all theses moves lol

Really not sure how feel about Kanter being traded for draft picks. Doesn't make much sense to me.

We got him at #3 back in '11, then discard him at the end of his rookie contract, just to start on another rookie. Thunder definitely got the better deal. Though it has been said Kanter wanted to be traded for a while, so perhaps that's the reason.

Kanter requested a trade and is a restricted free agent after this season and he will definitely attract some nice offers. With Gobert and Favours coming along Utah probably figured they should get something back for him instead of just letting him walk at the end of the year or paying him to be an unhappy bench big. They didnt get a lot for him though.

I think Utah also got the draft rights to a 7'1 euro prospect from OKC.

What's Jackson's contract? Is he a FA next season?
Curious as to why the Pistons got him when they have Jennings

I really don't understand what the 76ers are going for, even my mate thats a big fan thinks its stupid, how long can you tank for? MCW is someone that could be a key player in their future.

They hoping to get Mudiay or Russel this upcoming draft. MCW was an old rookie, hes pretty inefficient and not that good imo, big numbers on a bad team.

The KJ trade is a confusing one.

Yeah KJ too but it's not like the 76ers weren't already on track for a top 5 pick lol

MCW to me is a strange one. Excellent rookie year last year, good on a very very poor team this year... for the Bucks its a good pick up and should cement them for a finals appearance and perhaps a trip to the second round, but I don't really see what the 6ers get.

OKC I thought also did quite well in the trade day deadline mayhem. They now have two starting quality centres which they didn't have given they were getting little from Perkins, and DJ Augustin is a driving point guard and he seems more ready to accept a bench role compared to Reggie.

Knight is a better player than MCW at this point imo.

He is, but MCW does have lots of potential.
As a Bucks fan, I wasn't happy with the move at first but Knight was off contract and no certainty to stay. Even if he did he would have been looking for a payday. Maybe best spending that money on another free agent considering they got a decent player in MCW out of this.
Bucks are building quite a strong, young team. Hope it works out for them.

I would say yes, he has potential, but not lots of potential. Any half decent point guard playing on a team as weak as Philly could be made to look as good as MCW. And the fact that Philly were willing to trade him for future first round picks, says a lot about their true belief in what he has to offer.

Although having said that, I'm surprised Mil were willing to trade Brandon Knight. I thought he had a lot to do with them being in the top 8 currently. I think he was next in line for All Star honors had Jimmy Butler pulled out. Go figure.

As for the trade deadline. That was the craziestI have ever seen (caveat I've only been following NBA for two seasons  ). OKC absolutely committed day light robbery. Kanter, Augustin, Singler and Novak for a couple of future picks and reserve players in Perk & RJ?! dam, I thought they had it good nabbing Waiters for practically nothing, now they get all these pieces to add? Sam Preste take a bow. GM of the year.

Unfortunately for Presti it's all forgotten as soon as James Harden walks out for his next game with Houston.

Even worse than this is not firing Scott Brooks yet. One of the worst NBA coaches currently, constantly f**king up rotations, his offense is just iso ball for Durant and Westbrook and he holds no one accountable from what I can see otherwise West brook would not still be taking half of the bonehead shots he still does. With a half decent coach theyd be unstoppable.
