I may as well start with the raiders...

I'm finding it excruciatingly difficult to keep my excitement levels down this preseason...

The hype around us this season has been crazy...

I'm loving that feeling of being somewhat relevant again... But I'm also a little apprehensive after being so rubbish for so long...

I remember getting crazy excited when Al hired Lane Kiffin as coach... That was rough....

in panthers news; everyone is excited to have KB back in the #1 offense in the league :)

the only big question mark on the team is the three young CB's from the draft. Daryl Worley, James Braderry and Zack Sanchez have been up and down as you would expect. good day on monday and today Cam gave them a lesson with two big TD's back to back. one of these players is starting day 1 so it'll be good to see the battle unfold.

the CB's will be a weakness and they'll make mistakes all year but this team still has it's core of great players.

I'm Interested to see who takes Norman's spot... It's going to be interesting to see how it's handled.

Camp for the Raiders has been interesting... There's not all that much up for grabs but there's a good battle going on between our O-Line and D-Line.

Bruce Irvin had a few skirmishes with a couple of TE's.

But both lines should be very good... PFF rates our O-Line pushing the Cowboys as the best in the league... And our D-Line is getting scary with Irvin on the opposite side to Mack and with Mario Edwards and Dan Williams in the middle... All we need now is for the rookies Calhoun and Ward to come along nicely and of course Aldon Smith to sort his shit out...

Secondary is almost completely rebuilt... Sean Smith & David Amerson the corners... With Reggie Nelson & Karl motherf**king Joseph the safety's....

GETTING PUMPED!!!

Lol

Reports out of Eagles camp suggest the Defence is going to pretty good. Wentz has already made an impression that whilst he's not a finished product, he's clearly the most talented QB in camp

the skill positions are having a tough camp. Lots of drops which is troublesome given how many drops we had last year. Agholar getting some positive press

Landry Jones and Bruce Gradkowski are locked in a tight battle for the Steelers back up QB spot. One to watch.

You'd think that Bruce has it locked up. Especially after watching jones stink it up last year. Not that Bruce is great. Just a decent game manager.

Either way as a bengals fan I'd be happy with either starting. Cause I figure that you guys are in Trouble.

49ers QB battle is one to watch.

Am i the only one he thinks Blaine Gabbert is bog average? I know Kap has been up and down, but i think he's still twice the player. Could they be using it to try and get the best from Kaepernick?

Kaep's biggest problem to me are fundamental... He seems to struggle to stay in the pocket and let plays develop and get to his 2nd and 3rd read,,.

He feels pressure and then either tries to escape the pocket... Or he throws prematurely without letting the play develop so he limits his options and makes it pretty f**king difficult for his receivers.

DC's started figuring him out when they started using these tweener style Safety/LB's who would spy on him to prevent him from burning them with his feet.

Most mobile type QB's go through it... How they deal with it will determine how long they last in the league...

Cam Newton would get it... But he improved his ability to hurt you from the pocket so it meant having a player as a Spy would leave you vulnerable at the back end of your defence.

So his ability to make plays in the pocket actually open up opportunities to use his feet... Which he does...

.

Where's rcb? What on earth are the chargers doing? Why are they so cheap that they can't close a contract that the new cba designed that would allow monkeys to finalise the details?

Wentz has had his moments. Ugly pick as well. He's very athletic and looks good throwing on the run. Nice feel for the pocket too. Solid without being spectacular

I watched him too... Jezz he's a pretty thrower... From what I could see he looked nice and smooth...

But I'm no expert so his mechanics could be dogshit and I probably wouldn't know any better... Lol

I didn't see him get booed...

I saw the crowd cheer when he came in...

A little under 3 hours until the Raiders get going...

Nice little test with the Cards in Arizona...
