I swear he tried to catch the ball at one stage.

Aside from his half-arsed performance, what got to me the most was the fact that he did not wave to, or even acknowledge, the supporters once on the lap after the match.

For someone who knew he was playing his last ever game for LFC, to show that level of contempt for the club and the supporters who supported him fully, after both the Evra incident and the bite when he could've been hung out to dry, was disgusting.

Do Goner fans really want someone like that at their club?

(That's the sort of behaviour that would be perfect for Madrid)

There were a few more CL against Barca at the emirates.
Vs Blackburn 2009
Vs Liverpool 2010... Not the 4-4 game
Vs Ath Madrid 2010

He had his games, his problem was he couldnt be bothered using his talent more often.

Problem with Rooney is Chelsea want him too and that would mean a likely bidding war that would inflate his price and make United the winner out of it. We feel we're the only ones serious about Suarez which makes it a preferable road to go down.

And the worry with Rooney is with his fitness issues, are his best days behind him?

Suarez is an A grade arsehole. I don't like him personally. I reckon he is a pretty shitty human. But I think we need a bit of nasty, a real mongrel to be in the trenches with us. We're missing the kind of player that can get under opponents skin and unsettle them off their game.

If we sign Suarez for between 40 and 50 million pounds it will bring us a lot closer to the title. And that's all I care about. We're buying him for his talent, not his personality.

You make him sound like a Roy Keane/Patrick Vieira/Gennaro Gattuso, he's not he's a talented attack who just has f**king mental issues, he's not an enforcer, not an intimidator, he's a little bitch who goes down and rolls around if someone ever breaths too close to him

Last night his effort was so bad, he couldn't even be bothered to go down.

Again, I don't want him for his personality or how he carries himself or anything else.

I understand there is a pretty decent chance it could end in tears. But that is a risk worth taking. If we get him and win the league in the next 2 years then it could end up being a happy marriage. If we don't he'll demand his way out in 2015 or 2016.

He's a shit human but he would help us go a long way to catching the top 2. That's the only thing that matters. Taking this risk is necessary.

You dont change 100+ years of history and the way the club has carried itself too get closer to the top 2, if you want that just sign Wilfried Bony or Rooney

Did I seriously just read someone say that taking a 50 million pound risk is necessary!?

A risk on a world class player who plays in the position we are lacking most. Yes it's a risk. Yes it's necessary. There are few players of his caliber available. There are few other players who would make us a contender.

I forgot the only world class players in football are all at Bayern. I feel for your health if bayern dont win the BL and CL after all that money.

Believe me between the two of us my health is fine (blood test will prove that :D) and my emotional well being is arguably at its peak - as is my drinking - and Bayern won't win the champions league, you heard it here first!! you on the other hand are a season of Arsenal missing the champions league away from a full scale meltdown

Chelsea are going to win the league for the next two years. So it's going to end in tears

Just so you know...
