Transferring Music Videos to Ipod - music track only not movie

I have 30+ music DVD's which I would like to transfer to my iPod. I want the music only not the video. I have been told that because the DVD is sold as a combined music/video item, it cannot legally be separated. Is this correct or is there a program available. Thanks in advance.

Not sure of the technical legalities of it, but you can easily rip the audio off a DVD using free software, virtualdub is a good one but not very user friendly, google "rip dvd audio" or "extract dvd audio" for a bunch of guides and software.

There is a program called Super which will do it.

Super is freeware, fully functional and does not come with any spyware bundled in.

Yeah, if SUPER can handle it use it, didn't know it could rip from dvd, awesome program that I use for all my converting.
