Years ago when he was still with the bulldogs my wife was working with a lady who was a massive bulldog supporter. Her whole family were huge bulldog supporters and her little girls favourite player was Hodkinson.

Anyways they had met during fan events and the like and the girl used to send him letters. She mentioned one day it was her birthday coming up and Trent on his own doing just went around to her house with a gift on her birthday. That is the kind of thing that makes fans for life.

Yep. This guy is a legend.

The one and only NSW #7 to win a series since Andrew Johns. From all reports he is an outstanding bloke off the field... and it's refreshing to see a player in the media for that and not being a drunk dickhead.

His form for Knights has not been that great. But if his form off the field rubs off on any of the younger guys coming through he would still prove the be a good buy.
