With the thread about a combind tri-nations team after 2 games each lets see who is the FORM player in each position.

15: Percy Montgomery: Two good games and his goal kicking has beend fairly good. Heads off the erratic Latham and unusaly quiet Muliaina.
14: Breyton Paulse: Only just. Howlett has done nothing bar finaly catching a ball and Rathbone only has his moments drifting out of the game.
13: Tana Umaga: Outplayed both other centres where so far all three have been takeling machines with little chance to shine on attack.
12: De Wet Barry: Was the man reason the All Blacks looked disjointed. Gives away penalties with head highs but always has the opision looking for him.
11: Joe Rokocoko: Easily showed up both Aussie wingers and left Paulse for dead in a straight out sprint.
10: Jaco van der Westhuyzen: Only because Larkem and Spencer have been awful in one game each and this guy went ok in both.
09: Justin Marshall : Although his passing been crap, hes the only one to play both games and his running game has been great.
08: Xavier Rush: Shades out the other two by virtue of being in a winning team thus looking better. All three have been strong in places.
07: Marty Hollah: Has been outstanding. Outplayed both Smith and Waugh when both where on the field. McCaw now has a serious challange when he comes back. had a good tussle with Burger
06: AJ Venter: Despite being named at 7 is playing blindside and playing well. Smith/Samo/Gibbs/Collins have only had one game each.
05: Chris Jack: Has been outstanding in the air and on the ground. Has steped up after a quiet year last year/
04: Nathan Sharpe: Quiet game in Welly. But was outstanding against the boks.
03: Kees Meeuws: Despite having the dposies against the Boks has scrumaged well as has been good around the park.
02: Keven Mealamu: Has been good around the park and his throwing and scrumaging have been good. Not to mention his fists.
01: Os du Randt: He maybe old, but is as strong in the scrum as ever. Made some outstanding cover tackles against the Boks.

All-Blacks: 08
South Africa:06
Australia: 01

probably a fair bit of bias involved there. And the Aussies would have a fair few just behind the top team. It shows tho that the Boks have stepped up this year.
