I read on Fow sports news a coulpe of days ago that SANZAR officially invited the Pumas to compete in the Tri Nations as early as this year.

Has any body heard anymore on it and what do you think the chances are of the Argies joining and making it a Four Nations comp ?

They invited them, but on the condition that they field their best possible side. SANZAR knew, when issuing the invitation, that this was impossible because the European club sides are selfish pricks only concerned with themselves and won't release the best of the best.

It's like the invitation you give your elderly neighbour to a late night party you're having - you know they won't take you up on it, but it makes you look good for offering.
