If it is purely to get Pearce and Ponga out of any injury potential with 15-20 to go, I am happy with giving them a run.

Star is a centre and Tex is a fullback, so doubt it'd be to spell Pearce and ponga.

Hoy has played a fair bit of 5/8 coming through the juniors but has trained all pre-season at fullback.

Definitely not ideal having a guy who’s supposed to be our bench hooker starting on the wing. I’m guessing he’ll still go to joker when Levi needs a break and one of the young guys will come onto the wing.

Also quite annoying that Sione still had to play Centre with Moga, Hunt and Ross all injured. He’s not a bad back up to be fair but it just means we don’t get to see him play in his preferred position until the season gets underway.
