Do we think this trial team is a sign of things to come for Round 1? If so, I'm not over the moon about another year of Ford as a starting prop and DWZ on the wing...although Vaimauga and AKP aren't playing, so maybe it's a last chance for Ford and DWZ to impress?

You're not the first person I've seen suggest this, but Tuaupiki has literally never played a professional game of rugby league anywhere other than fullback or wing so I think even the idea he's a halves option is just a fantasy based on him being a fullback who can kick goals?

I'd assume the more likely possibility is CNK plays at 6, as he does a number of times, and TT to fullback.

Fair enough, for some reason I had it in my mind that he'd played there for the Warriors at some stage. He's never played there for our NSW Cup team, either.

It'll be really interesting as to whether AKP has that wing spot. I reckon Webby will go for DWZ and ask AKP to earn his way through NSW Cup.

I'd bloody hope Vaimauga is our starting prop and Ford plays limited minutes this year.

Looking at the team list for the NSW Cup trial, I'm wondering if 1-17 will get extended minutes. A lot of the reserves for the FG trial are named in the Cup trial too...
