Have the sharks played any trials against first grade NRL sides, or are you playing one next weekend.
If they havent, do sharks fans think they have had a strong enough preparation going into the competition.

Yep. Good prep.
No injuries.

Well if we count the sevens as preparation, we did lose Kent for 6 weeks.

Anyone see the Tigers strongest line up as the Tele sees it today? It was on the pullout poster along with the Roosters one. It doesn't look that strong to me.

This will be a danger match. The Tigers have had a habit of starting strong in the past few seasons, and this year should be no different. We'll have to be right on our game to win this one IMO.

The Tigers play and aggro, in your face type of footy that has caused the Sharks trouble at times in the past.

Good point sheros, they caused us a few worries in 2002 at that shithole Campbelltown with their thuggery, poor Nick Graham in particular was targeted.

While we're on the Tiges, isnt Darren Senter an absolute fargwit?

I agree.

Should have heard the tigers fans giving it to him at the 7s. Makes the stuff people said about JA look nice

Yeah SS, there wasn't much footy played at that game. It was all Tiger niggle, sledging, and high shots.

Darren Senter would have to be my least favourite in the NRL, since Geoff Toovey retired. Senter is the biggest niggling cheat I've ever seen.

I hope they try it this year with Lomu, Beatie back to his mongral best, Gallen, Nuts, Russo, Bailey and co; I think if they try it on this year they might get a big shock. BRING BACK THE BIFF

Really? So they dislike him as much as we do?

2002?.....didn't we flog em?.......or
36-30 in our first home game of that season I believe
Then later in the season we got them but not until the end? I could be wrong. I remember being at that game and there was a particularly good showing from the Sharkie Army. I'll never forget the stickers in the toilets imploring the savages out that way to wear condoms when they have sex. Clearly they have enough savages as it is!

I still remember that saturday night game on fox8 a few years ago when tigers scored in the corner right on fulltime and replays showed the player that scored had put his foot over the sideline and the linesman didn't see it but everyone else did. Ever since then the baskets have proved to be our bogey team.
