Even still that came out 18 years ago.
Because Christmas and Easter also celebrates the invasion and murdering of natives...
Grow up. Its a f**king song list.
So politicising a song list is OK?
Not that big of a deal really. I can listen to 94 shit songs and 6 decent ones any Saturday arvo anyway.
It's far less damaging than invading a country and murdering it's inhabitants I reckon.
Settle down grandad..
It is already politicised. Every year we would hear the same old thing re being on Australia day.
Now that's not longer an issue, asides from this year when it will be discussed it will likely not be a thing being discussed in years to come effectively depoliticising it.
Someone can do a remix of Midnight Oil's "Beds are Burning".
Watch it come number one in the 2018 Hottest 100?
Remix it all you want.
How many people does it murder?
A tad sensitive are we?
If a non binding strawpoll is good enough to decide gay marriage its good enough for the ABC to use to see if its listeners want the hottest 100 moved.
The weird thing about JJJ and the hottest 100 in general is the best years were the ones where I was young. Which is a weird coincidence that a youth radio station appealed to me when I was a youth
yes you are. complaining about some shit music being moved to a different day.
In the words of TISM
Big f**ken Whooppee
This Is Serious Madunit?
Why wouldn't it be? Asides from the shit music part he's spot on.
Yes. Do you propose to abolish Australia Day as well?
Well for a start nothing is being abolished and secondly, WTF? How is that a relevant question in any way to the countdown being moved?
Do you read or just assume?
What have JJJ abolished?
what the f**k are you on about?
its a radio show playing music ffs.
You're the clown stating that Australia Day is about invasion and murder.
