Will money that would have been tied up in Jim Beam now be made available for such signings ??? ( If no Beam team is fielded in 2007 ) ??

If no Beam is fielded in 2007, trhere would not be that much money freed up at all. We run our JBC team on the cheap and through certain sponsors. Add to that the ever increasing costs in PL.

What little money that may be left over will not be spent immediately. We have to keep it in case other forecasts don't come through. Eg. three wet days at Henson Park could wipe away the savings.

Well I suppose scoring the most season try's in a team that ended the season in a grandfinal appearance, and then scoring a try on g/final day, and then coming so close to scoring a second to win that same grandfinal would perhaps be noticed by some other club. Will be a shame not to retain Troy for 2007 though I reckon. But understand the money issues. It's still a bugger though.....
