Hey All:
Coming off a much-improved week at 12-4, but still
not quite as well as we should've done. How about the
Jacksonville Defense, emerging as a clear top D in the
NFL. Chiefs are collapsing, Lions are starting to
emerge but still haven't played anyone. And just
about every team in the league has lost a key
component for the season over the first two weeks.
It's been an interesting development, so now we'll
have to see what lies in store this week.
Arizona @ Atlanta: Michael Vick has got this team
moving and an easy pick to contend for the NFC South
title with the Panthers. I think the Panthers should
give though with the several missing components on
their offense. Cardinals have some small sparks but
nothing significant enough to stop the most explosive
player in the NFL.
Final Score 30-10 Falcons.
Baltimore @ Cincinnati: Baltimore's defense finally
showed up last week, and it wasn't until Ben
Rothlesberger came in the fourth quarter that they
showed any give. They will be facing a much more
talented Bengals team this week, but Carson Palmer
will get flustered early and make some mistakes which
will take Rudi Johnson out of the game, this will make
the Bengals one dimensional and cause them to cough up
a close one.
Final Score 16-13 Ravens.
Chicago @ Minnesota: Vikings could've accomplished a
lot on Monday Night, but failed to execute in the Red
Zone. Randy Moss should have the Chicago secondary
having fits, but this could be an equally huge game
for Thomas Jones, in a shocker the Bears will pull of
the upset and have all of us scratching our heads.
Final Score 24-20 Bears.
Cleveland @ NY Giants: Well now that the F*ing
soldier is in the F*ing infirmary. The Giants
secondary can stick to chasing the second rate players
that comprise about 60% of that Cleveland franchise lol.
Jeremy Shockey has been awfully quiet so far, but i
think it's time for him and Warner to shine in a big
win at home for the G-Men.
Final Score 27-10 Giants.
Houston @ Kansas City: Chiefs have to have some pride
here, it can't be over this quickly, can it? One of
these two teams will leave at 0-3!! Something has to
give, and unfortunately for the Chiefs, it's going to
be their secondary as Domanick Davis and company throw
a little block party.
Final Score 30-17 Texans.
Jacksonville @ Tennessee: Titans defense didn't
tighten up in the final moments to hang on against the
Colts last week. They need to stand tall at home
against a tough competitor, I'm seeing a lot of shades
of the Baltimore SB defense. Titans will have their
hands full, but the trend is, if Wilford scores it's
all the Jags need.
Final Score 10-9 Jaguars.
New Orleans @ St. Louis: Saints have been involved in
some competitive affairs over the past couple games
and the team who loses this game will fall to 1-2.
Saints will have to adjust their game plan to make up
for the loss of D-Mac for a few weeks. Saints should
make a game of it though I expect a shootout in the
skies under the Edward Jones dome. Should be an
exciting game.
Final Score 31-30 Saints.
Philadelphia @ Detroit: The Eagles have been
phenomenal to get the year started here, having looked
like that T.O. thing has put them over the top. Lions
however will have to play with a chip on their
shoulder for the remainder of the year. Roy Williams
just woke up this sunday, and may be making a rookie
of the year campaign. Expect Kevin Jones to finally
have a 100 yd. game and make some noise in a shocking
upset.
Final Score 23-20 Lions.
Pittsburgh @ Miami: Dolphins actually looked like a
team with a prayer sunday night and just missed eeking
that one out in Cincinnati. I expect them to fluster
Ben Roethlisberger and some turnovers. Lamar Gordon
should run right through this Pittsburgh defense in a
big win for the flippers.
Final Score 23-6 Dolphins.
San Diego @ Denver: The Chargers are hardly the
Jaguars defense, and after a week off I officially
decree Q-Ball back on the air. It's gonna be off the
hook as Griffin rushes for over 200 and just owns the
Chargers.
Final Score 30-13 Broncos.
Green Bay @ Indianapolis: Surprise! Edge will play
in this game and Indy will be all over the packers
like white on rice. Packers have done a decent job of
establishing Ahman Green, but when it comes down to
needing points you need an air attack, and that the
pack lacks. I will never pick them unless they show
they wanna f**ken win,..... Proove me wrong GB comon PACK!
Final Score 31-16 Colts.
San Francisco @ Seattle: Shaun Alexander should
seal his MVP front runner status this week, and company
should be back on track after a slow offensive weekend
at Tampa. 49ers really stayed with the Saints last
week, but this should be over at the half, a huge win
for Seattle.
Final Score 38-6 Seahawks.
Tampa Bay @ Oakland: This is the point at which we
find out how bad the Buccaneers really are this year.
The defense struggling the offense struggling, and now
on the road at a Raiders team that won last week and
finally got some confidence. This is a recipe for
trouble. I expect a tough penalty plagued turnover
fueled terd toss. Ending in a Janikowski FG.
Final Score 20-17 Raiders.
Dallas @ Washington: Monday night games have really
lacked the excitement we've come to expect. This game
should be an interesting match-up until half time. I
expect Clinton Portis to shine though in the primetime
spotlight. Go Skins!
Final Score 27-17 Redskins.
