Hey All:

Figured what the hell! I'll get the picks in early
this week and get them out the way. I'd first like to
say my picks have been god awful this year, and pray
that you didn't wager any money with those. LOL nah I had a few
really outstanding weeks then I feel apart towards seasons end.
Anyway here goes this week's selections. Sucks that
whole 4th time-out thing will likely eliminated
Seattle and Cincy while giving the AFC North to the
Ravens. And Billick was complaining about
officiating, seemed to work for him.

Buffalo @ New England: Momentum is an important thing
to have entering the playoffs, and as injury riddled
as that Pats team has been this season, they still
find ways to win. So I think starters will likely
play the first quarter at a minimum before being
benched (Pats have home field already). I think Bills
will probably have problems moving the ball vs. the
2nd team defense should be an interesting game only
due to that. I'll still take the Pats to pull it out.
Final Score 20-17 New England. CORRECTION
NO NO NO PATS DON`T HAVE HF ADVANTAGE YET.

Seattle @ San Francisco: Man Seahawks have to have
this if they're going to get in the playoffs, (go
denver) for their sake. Man a 4th time-out who knew
what kinda implications that might have, then again
you blew a 38-21 4th quarter lead shame on y'all!!
49ers played admirably without TO vs. the Eagles, and
should bring the A-Game this week, it's on the
Seahawks to take down Kevan Barlow and make Garcia
throw the ball into the teeth of that secondary. I
don't think Seahawks will get it done, and 49ers will
remain on the upswing to end the year.
Final Score 24-20 San Francisco. (Seattle Eliminated)

Philadelphia @ Washington: Still a matter of
attempting to regain home field after choking on the
49ers last week following a great rally at the end to
tie it. I think the Eagles should easily get back on
track against a struggling Redskins team and put
themselves in position to get back home field,
minimally win the East and Secure a bye.
Final Score 30-10 Philadelphia.

Chicago @ Kansas City: Interesting to see what Kansas
City does with their starters as the Colts loss
clinches them the other 1st round bye in the AFC even if they lose here.
Holmes should get a chance at the record, but to take
that kind of a risk against a Bears defense that hits
as hard as these guys, is pretty stupid. Holmes has
the 1st quarter to get it done, and if he doesn't then
he will just stay tied with Emmitt Smith at (25).
Meanwhile there's a football game too, Rex Grossman
should continue his performance of the past two weeks
and do well enough to win against the Chiefs second
teamers. Kansas to bring out Todd Collins and the secondary
and third backups all day long.
Final Score 28-17 Chicago.

Cleveland @ Cincinnati: Should be another big game
for Rudi Johnson who has made a name for himself in
Cincinnati. Bengals should easily do their share to
get in to the playoffs and now just anxiously await
what happens to Baltimore. Browns are awful and have
a lot of restructuring to do on that defense.
Final Score 31-13 Cincinnati.

Dallas @ New Orleans: Man what an ending in New
Orleans to not get a W for them, how heart-wrenching,
you'd never expect a Whiff like that out of Jon
Carney, unbelievable. Meanwhile, Cowboys will likely
only be playing to hold off the Packers/Vikings as the
Eagles will have the division secured. Should be a
pretty good game, but that Cowboy secondary should
fair well against the Saints, but D-Mac will loom
large in this final game.
Final Score 24-20 New Orleans.

Indianapolis @ Houston: Don't expect the Colts to
struggle nearly as bad as the hobbled Titans did.
Dungy will go for the jugular early and get this
division wrapped up for Indy. Shouldn't be much of a
game at all, but should be a big day for Manning and
company.
Final Score 30-10 Indianapolis. (Indy
clinches AFC-South and #3)

Jacksonville @ Atlanta: Mike Vick should continue his
dominance, and this Falcon defense shut down Fred
Taylor while they're at it. End the season on a
positive swing for the Birds going in to next season.
Jags survived last week by just the worst break in NFL
history, and this week shouldn't be nearly as
fortunate in a game that doesn't matter.
Final Score 30-16 Atlanta.

NY Jets @ Miami: Well here's Wannstedt's job
everybody. Miami has to win this game, and look like
they were just about in the playoffs, otherwise
Wanny's toast, well actually Wanny's toast anyway, but
they should make some plays and at least try to save
his job as I think the players still like him.
Final Score 23-13 Miami.

St. Louis @ Detroit: How does Matt Millen NOT get
fired. Well a win here would help matters greatly,
but unfortunately is not likely. This Lions team is
so mismatched with St. Louis that this should really
be over by the half. The Lions have played admirably
of late, but just too many injuries and no depth
should kill them quickly.
Final Score 38-10 St. Louis
(Rams clinch HFA in NFC)

Tampa Bay @ Tennessee: Well the Champs know they can
get themselves a pyrrhic victory by knocking the
Titans to finish out the season. Highly unlikely but
they can do it, the Texans almost got them. I think
Stevie Mac will have his game on swoll as always, but
hey how about the champs knock them just a little
short.
Final Score 24-20 Tampa Bay

Carolina @ NY Giants: Hmmmm, Panthers have to know
just about exactly where they fall in, I don't think
they want Dallas again, so they'll win and take their
chances with the Packers.
Final Score 23-13 Carolina.

Minnesota @ Arizona: Cards spot the Vikes a 30 pt
lead like anybody else they play, and this one's over.
Should be another big day for the Minny offense.
Final Score 45-10 Minnesota. (Vikes host Boys)

Denver @ Green Bay: Would really like to go with
Denver, but man, this time of year in Green bay
without Portis, or with him hobbled. This could be a
rough day going in for Denver. Packers should be able
to pull this out, but with a win without a win would
be irrelevant a Seahawks loss puts Green Bay in the
playoffs so shouldn't matter much. Bring on Carolina.
Final Score 23-20 Green Bay. (Broncos go to CIN/BAL)

Oakland @ San Diego: Tomlinson Big, Raiders suck,
implications 0.
Final Score 31-0 San Diego.

Pittsburgh @ Baltimore: The big game that the Bengals
may charter a flight to watch in person. Steelers
would need to bring down the Ravens to bring the
playoffs back to cincinnati for the first time in 15
years. I think Cowher will have these guys positive
and thinking they can win, and vs. a Ravens defense
that sometimes gets caught in quicksand, it could
happen. However I think the name of the game is turn
and give and let Jamal Lewis get you to the playoffs.
And try telling me that Ray Lewis and that defense
don't know what this means for them. They'll bring
their A-Game damn 4th time out, poor bengals.
Final Score 23-9 Baltimore (Ravens host titans)

Surprise, so playoffs would look like so from these
picks seeds and all.

NFC:Eagles

1)St. Louis, 2) Philadelphia, 3)Carolina
4)Minnesota 5) Dallas 6) Green Bay

AFC:Titans

1)New England 2)Kansas City 3)Indianapolis
4)Baltimore 5)Tennessee 6)Denver

I'll take McNair's Titans in Houston (where the
Titans/Oilers still have some fans)
