Hey All,
I was Bitchslapped back to reality last week courtesy of a 5-9
drubbing of my good name, and of course the remergence
of the Saints air attack, while on my bench. GRRRRRR
Well at least the Fish evened the series 2-2 with the
Yanks expect them to high step this series to the
house now, sorry for the Cubs and Sox though so close
yet so far. Anyhow, now for some random tidbits about
Marlins fans, so far, for the month of October, their
attendance is half what it was for the entire season
prior to October, fair weather fish fans I tell you.
Now to the subject I know nothing about back to
football or so i`ve been told lately lol.
Carolina at New Orleans: Saints air attack finally
emerged from its hibernation this week. I should have
seen it coming two straight 100 yd performances for
Deuce McAllister, but I didn't think what would happen
if he hit paydirt the whole team was invigorated and
proceeded to thrash the Falcons who have now been
decimated 81-17 over their last two games. I think
the Panthers have hit their stumbling block now and
focus won't be there when the Saints score two quick
TD's Brooks and company re-establish themselves
heading into their bye with the offense back on track
and a .500 record.
Final Score 34-16 New Orleans.
Cleveland at New England: Holcomb/Couch Browns have
an inconsistent but decent 1-2 punch at QB. However
the Pats defense have established themselves now and
despite all the injuries are doing very well and
Belichick might just be a defensive genius after all.
Anyhow expect the Patriots offense to do just enough
to get by as usual. Rodney Harrison to get a coupe Int`s.
And to kill a WR aswell
Final Score 23-17 New England.
Dallas at Tampa Bay: Buccs have a habit of beating
somebody up following an embarassing loss. Expect
them to smack around the Cowgirls for TO stomping all
over them but in a high scoring one.
Final Score 44-26 Tampa Bay.
Denver at Baltimore: I really like Jamal Lewis here.
Baltimore offense rallied last week and
did very well against the Bengals. Broncos offense is
hurting without Plummer and now Danny Kanell takes the
reigns of the offense. Kanell would've been good in
Atlanta but some guy named Vick stepped in and ruined
that for him. Solid Florida QB will be consistent
play well, Portis will have a big game I think Broncos
will surprise some people and pull out a gutsy road
win.
Final Score 30-27 Denver.
Detroit at Chicago: I like to expect the Lions to do
well but it hasn't helped me yet, you'd think vs. a
struggling Bears team the Lions could get something
done, but not against a Bears defense that's been
coming around of late. Expect a close game and an
Edinger game winner. A-Train to host fairly big numbers too.
Final Score 16-14 Chicago.
N.Y. Giants at Minnesota: Well you think the Viking
romp would have to die somewhere and at Mid-season
this is where the Giants heat up but there's this
whole 41-0 NFC Championship rout that needs absolution
and I think we're going to see it here. Energizer
Bunny got the scoreboard, and it keeps going and
going, thump thump thump.
Final Score 38-7 Minnesota.
Seattle at Cincinnati: Bungles need an establishing
victory and this would be the opportunity they need to
do it. Seahawks are looking at Chad Brown missing this
one and that gives Corey Dillon room to maneuver in
the middle. I think Bungles can win this game
establish themselves and FINALLY be called BENGALS.
Final Score 30-13 Cincinnati.
St. Louis at Pittsburgh: Possibility that MARSHALL
might see limited PT in this one.
Bettis will pound and pound and pound
the ball in this one perhaps for 100 yards on thr ground
on 100 carries lol.
Final Score 27-13 Pittsburgh. :O
Tennessee at Jacksonville: Steve McNair is one the NFL
MVP candidates so far!, and should continue to act like it as he always
feasts on the Jags, more things change in J-Ville the
more they stay the same. Jags are in rough shape
defense and offense can't show up to the same game.
Final Score 30-13 Tennessee.
San Francisco at Arizona: 49ers offense finally
showed up and pimpsmacked a very solid Tampa Bay
defense, perhaps the old undersized philosophy has
come to fruition when it comes to them, meanwhile the
Cardinals secondary still stinks and TO should have a
CONTRACT DAY. Garcia will go GLOBAL.
Final Score 41-17 San Francisco.
Houston at Indianapolis: Colts have been flat out
unstoppable and a home game vs. the Texans is a done
deal. Right? Thornton's a monster Doss Harper great
young secondary, Tony Dungy's your coach. Peyton Manning
will hook up with Marvin Harrison but wait so will David Carr
with his guys, But HERE IS
MY UPSET SPECIAL!!!!! Domanick Davis is awesome and
putting up some legit Rookie of the Year kind of
numbers expect a big game with about 175 all-purpose yardage
out of him as the Texans shock the Colts.
Final Score 31-30 Houston.
N.Y. Jets at Philadelphia: Eagles have found a
wonderful weapon in Bryan Westbrook and it only took
until now for them to finally realise that he's their
future. Expect another big performance out of him as
the Eagles return to respectability.
Final Score 20-16 Philadelphia
Buffalo at Kansas City: Chiefs continue to be
undefeated. Travis Henry leads the
league in TD's with 8, but Priest Holmes is just
unstoppable and this Bills defense has a lot of
leadership but no heart.
Final Score 31-17 Kansas City.
Miami at San Diego: Dolphins are going to the superbowl? maybe?
which means they need to throw something together,
expect an offense this week
I think surprising move that Brian Griese will get the
nod. Should be a shootout cuz it's MNF.
Final Score 31-28 Miami.
