Hey guys, I just wanted to say HUGE HELLO TO ALL THOSE FROM THE OLD Knights forum!!! I have already done weeks 1-4 this week being week 5 In the NFL, I was going to start doing these in the Newcastle Knights forum but when I found out about this forum`s website I just thought i`d do it here so here goes:

Hey All:

Another 10-4 week in my picks I'm starting to get
right with these which means My fantasy team is 2-2
and looking toward a drab season by contrast. At
least one always comes through for me.
cuz here I go again....

Arizona @ Dallas: Emmitt Smith returns to his old longtime club
; Cowboys returned to the Meadowlands
after their bye and controlled the Jets for 60 minutes
with an awesome blend of Power Running and great
defense, expect the same to continue this week. The
Cowboys have one of the most underrated secondaries in
the NFL but with Terrence Neumann improving and Roy
Williams and Darren Woodson at safety this unit has
something. Anquan Boldin should be in the high 80's
again for receiving yards, but aside the Cardinal
offense should be fairly limited. Defensively (unless
you're the packers) the cards have allowed 39 ppg, so
expect this trend to continue as Antonio Bryant
torches this Cardinal secondary to the tune of 3 TDs
and 150+ yards. Emmitt's big return will be spoiled.
Final Score 37-16 Dallas.

Cincinnati @ Buffalo: The great revenge game for
Takeo Spikes, but the starting RB's are both
questionable on the injury report, oh fortune. Takeo
Spikes and company should be able to shut down the
run, so the omus is on the Bills secondary to stop the
air attack of the Bengals. Bills may have allowed a
little here and there vs. the Eagles and that cost
them this past week, but won't expect this to happen
two weeks in a row. Bills know humility, but they're
still a good football team, like Marvin Lewis think
the Bengals are going in the right direction. But you
know what Bengals have one of the better secondaries
in the NFL, with No Henry and No ground game Bills
have to challenge it, I think this bodes well for
Cincy. Give Peter Warrick a late TD grab to win it.
Final Score 24-17 Cincinnati.

Denver @ Kansas City: Should be all the hype best
game of the week. The Chiefs defense is kinda' ailing
though but I expect Vonnie Holliday to get off the
bench and play as well as Portis both listed as
questionable. Two great teams one will take the lead
in the AFC West. Expect a big shootout, and in a passing game
i`ll take the Kansas City.
Final Score 36-28 Kansas City.

Miami @ NY Giants: Giants offense finally woke up and
the Dolphins secondary, despite stopping the Bills
before the bye week, have also given 300 yd days to
Testeverde and David Carr. Expect another Giants type
of game, following the blueprint, of score pts but
allow twice as many FG's as we score TD's and
ultimately blow a 4th quarter lead to a Ricky Williams
TD.
Final Score 29-24 Miami.

Minnesota @ Atlanta: Mike Tice and the Vikings are
just about unstoppable. And Randy Moss has returned
to his early NFL form with just excellent plays that
seem effortless. I mean you watch some highlights and
see DB's hauling ass diving jumping, making full
extension and just the best effort a DB can give, and
watch moss simply half jog down the field turn reach
up snag the ball as if walking, then look at the DB
and say HOW FOOLISH OF YOU makes my theoy.
of speed somes with the skin colour oooohhhh OOPS.
Just amazing. Onterrio Smith finally punched
one in last week and got to be part of the offense
so I hope for my fantasy team's sake this continues.
However something strange has to
happen here. Peerless Price is doubtful, Vick's not
back for a week, Vikings were true to their defensive
blueprint vs. the 49ers. So surely TJ DUCKETT would
have 150 and 3 TD and the Falcons will stun the Vikes
late on a Jay Feely FG.
Final Score 30-27 Atlanta.

New Orleans @ Carolina: Surely at this point you'd
think the Saints offense may have awaken and scored
some points, but no. And this week won't bode much
better, no running game, no protection, no playmaking,
no defense. The Saints are in big trouble and are
reverting back to the Ain'ts of old all talent and no
production, just wow. Anyway Panthers defense is top
of the line in the NFL special teams are special and
the Saints are toast as Julius Peppers should have 3
sacks this week.
Final Score 27-3 Carolina.

Oakland @ Chicago: The heart of the Oakland defense
has to come through at some point, and this is a
situation where as long as the Raiders stick to a 3
headed monster backfield rushing blueprint, they can't
be stopped. Somebody will get a hat on Urlacher and
the Raiders will continue to bolster their confidence
following some frustrating losses the first few weeks.
Expect a return to respectability as they continue to
devour the cupcakes. Justin Fargas to put up big numbers.
Final Score 30-17 Oakland.

Seattle @ Green Bay: Well Packer fans, Favre season
is officially open oh dear....I hope not but if it is, I suggest taking the next 6 weeks
to drink beer and go deer hunting bow and rifle season
should blot out the worst losing streak in 10 years
for the Packers. The offense is empty without giving
the ball to Ahman Green or Bubba Franks can`t
rely on them though, and the secondary is dead.
The Packers are in for the worst stretch of their season.
(Sea, KC, StL, Min, Phi, and TB all in a row?)
maybe not we`ll see though. This is a season for
getting to know your family packer fans, I'd turn
the games off and play Uno or something. Ken
Hamlin will continue his early career dominance and
rough up the packers receivers as Favre gets picked 3
more times in another embarassing loss. Welcome back
mikey!!
Final Score 34-13 Seattle.

Tennessee @ New England: Steve McNair was absolutely
flawless Sunday vs. the Steelers in a simply candid
performance there by the Titans. Patriots looked cold
vs. a solid Washington defense, and at the end just
couldn't put away a late comeback bid. This should be
another close game but with the defensive injuries
mounting on the pats (6-7 starters out) The Titans
should continue to impress.
Final Score 30-20 Tennessee.

San Diego @ Jacksonville: Leftwich played fairly well
in his first start vs. a talented Houston team
shooting for .500 and beyond here. The Jags offense
should continue to improve and with the weight of
offensive FF woes on the shoulders of the Chargers,
Tomlinson has to move the ball, Jack Del Rio won't
allow this.
Final Score 23-6 Jacksonville.

Detroit @ San Francisco: LOOK OUT CUZ HERE COMES T.O.
Following a tirade last week Gannon had a big game for
the Raiders, Following a tirade insisting how hungry
he was Marvin Harrison torched the Saints offense,
Following a tirade with his O.C. T.O. will have a big
game vs. the hapless Lions. Expect Mooch to have Dre
Bly with T.O. every step and to be unforgiving over
the middle as he schools his most favorite WR in the
name of respect. But uh, should be a big day as T.O.
says, "Is that all you got" Spoils Mooch's big
return. BTW after the 3rd TD, expect TO to walk over
to Mooch give him a hug and hand him the ball.
Final Score 30-27 San Francisco.

Washington @ Philadelphia: Hope the Eagles didn't get
too used to moving the Ball. Cuz the Redskins are
bringing an underrated defense to town. Skins offense
will loom large as Patrick Ramsey will have a big
game, Ladell Betts should have a goalline score, but
don't expect much on the ground as spurrier knows how
to take advantage of secondary absent of 3 starters
(Dawkins, Vincent, Taylor)
Final Score 30-13 Washington.

Cleveland @ Pittsburgh: Wonderful Sunday Night
Match-up. Browns always bring something extra for the
steelers I kinda hope William Green wakes up for the
Prime Time cuz he's been snoozing all year. Expect
something different from the Browns arsenal however as
Holcomb is out and Couch starts another game for them,
may this offense finally wake up. However Maddox and
company will loom large even if Burress misses the
game and the playmakers will do their job as the
Steelers continue to prove they are a top AFC team.
Final Score 33-27 Pittsburgh.

Indianapolis @ Tampa Bay: PING PONG anyone?
Hell I expect this one to be a doosy either that or..... Let's
watch them kick FG's back forth, good excuse to get
out the house I suppose, should be the closest we come
to a superbowl preview this early in the season. BUT I've
shifted my prediction to Miami holding strong as my
AFC that's the same, but Saints offense is flatter
than a pancake in the NFC and I'm going to go with the
Vikings now, unfortunate to think the Vikes will have
to lose another SB though. Anyway losing focus. Peyton
Manning coming off a 6 TD Passing game will again light the
place up 3 td`s more and a shit load of FG`s to Martin
Gramatica and Mike Vanderjagt make it so. Colts to stun
Superbowl reigning champs in OVERTIME.
Final Score 27-24 Indianapolis.

I didnt read much of that (sorry i get bored reading anything over a few lines) but noticed the end saying Peyton will get 3 TD against the Bucs. Aint going to happen, I think that mike vanderjagt's perfect season with the boot will be sorely tested and we could see a game with only 1 or 2 TDs in total.

Furthur more if you had any idea about Tony Dungy returning to Tampa Bay after coaching witht he Bucs from 1996-2001, Now returning as The Colts head coach you`d also realise that his defensive coaching ability is far greater than any other coach in the NFL in the last 15 years. I do honestly think Dungy`s stingy defence will be better than Gruden`s D. Just remember under Dungy he kick started Tampa Bay into the team they are today.

Whats that got to do with anything??

I was saying it WILL be a low scoring game. And 9-6 is a possibility (even though in your prediction you somehow got 27-24 - which one are you going with coz there is a fair difference there!) because the Colts have already been in a 9-6 game in round 1 against another team with a ridiculously blunt offence, the browns. I do however think that the Colts finding form last week should be good enough to get them at least 1 TD this week

Just have to add, that's Canadian Mike Vanderjagt, formerly of the Toronto Argonauts.
