TSOULOS AND BULLDOGS AGREE TO TERMS
1 July 2007

The Mitsubishi Electric Bulldogs have recruited prop Justin Tsoulos for the 2008 and 2009 seasons after both sides agreed to terms.

Tsoulos, 23, made his NRL debut in 2003 with the Parramatta Eels and has since played 26 first grade games for the club.

Bulldogs coach Steve Folkes commented, "Justin will come to us with valuable NRL experience and will give us much needed depth in the front row.

"He hasn't had alot of luck in the past couple of seasons with injuries but hopefully for him and us that is behind him and he can show everyone what he is capable of."

In 2007 the Bulldogs have re-signed Sonny Bill Williams, Daniel Holdsworth, Ben Roberts, Hazem El Masri and Tim Winitana and promising Jersey Flegg prop Luke Thompson. They have also recruited props Charlie Laeano from the St George-Illawarra Dragons, Conrad Ta'akimoeaka from the North Sydney Bears and now Tsoulos from the Parramatta Eels.

if Folkes can turn this guy into a regular firtgrader at the very least, than it would be an absolutely monumental effort.

goodluck to JT and goodluck to Folksy...they'll both need it.

If it was at all possible would have liked to have kept him purely for depth reasons only. Not to be. Sad to see him go but by no means devastated. Didn't not reach his potential in the blue and gold. Good luck to him. Pity it was the dogs though. Then again could have been one worse and went to the scumeagles. f**k I hate them in case anyone didn't know.

Thank god he's gone. Too injury prone. Seriously doesnt he realise he's not built for league. Get out before you seriously get injured and get wrapped up in cotton wool and take up chess and jazz ballet. No wait he will get injured doing those things as well.

I love Folkes' quote, EXPERIENCE. How can you be experienced with 26 games lol

Good luck to him...he has the talent, just doesn't seem to have the motivation. A change of clubs is probably best for him and for us. If the Dogs can get him motivated he could turn out to be a real good buy for them.

I wouldn't worry about Stiffy, he only pretends to know alot about the club, but really has no idea.

Good luck JT. Hope the injuries stay away, because I really can't see him being top grade standard until he gets a full season on the park. Eels made the right decision to let him go I think.

He looked like he's just going through the motions this season. Actually a good thing someone else took him off our hands because I think with a good off season and a bit of luck he'd go well.

Good luck to Justin.. I think there was obviously a few guys ahead of him here at the club which was due to his injuries. I actually think Steve Folkes will work wonders with him over there. Look what he did for Bobcat.
