Its a young side but we may as well start blooding them in 1st grade. Tim Smith a champ half back, let him play beside witt.

That side looks good to me. It will never happen though. McKinnon and Tsoulos hold your heads high, the rest of you can get stuffed, take your 6 figure salaries and not worry about disgraceful performances.

Jake I sincerely trust you in relation to your confidence in Tim Smith. I hear he is a true halfback. Witt also needs to come in at 6. He is too much of a cult hero to be constantly left out.

I reckon we've gotta look at the success a team like St George has with young guys who are wet behind the ears, but have a bit of passion.

I thought McKinnon, Tsoulos, Hopkins, Thorman, Grothe (he was a bit shit at times, but he does apparently have the flu) - damn thats all I think did well ....and I'll give Stapleton a go, he supposedly has the flu too.

Anyway, these guys and Hindy stay - all other jobs are up for grabs.

I think the Dragons proved that you can field a young and inexperienced side, with 2 debutants and still humiliate the opposition. Maybe Brian Smith should remember that when picking his side next week. Do it on form not on history.

Yes Tim Smith is a true half back he is better than Witt and Thorman for sure, he can actually control games.

Put him in now and give him 1st grade expeiance as we wont be winning anything this year with the current mob that we have in.

our premmy league team could have beaten the Dragons, but our first grade team cant.

me thinks we should have played our kids againts their kids and we would have done better.

The coach is the reason these players are at the club. Smith can't see it, he can't see anything at the moment, he can't even see that it is time for him to step down and let someone else manage the fort.

gould said it all at the end of the telecast the eels just dont have the tallant to compete in this comp and no coach can coach a bunch of guys to win if theres no tallant. or words to that effect.
