Tupou

Can anyone tell me what happened to Tupou last night? I turned up with about 15 mins to go in Premier League and was shocked to see Walker in the 23. I also noticed Hannant out there which made me feel a little at ease realising the earlier rumours about Wing being out and all the shifting around would bring Hannant into the FG team.
I missed the side being announced thanks to having to take the kids to the toilet and then stand in the extraordinarily long lines to purchase extremely overpriced hotdogs.
What I did notice during the game was that Tupou was absent although he was named on the bench earlier in the week. Did he play PL or was he out altogether? Is he injured?

Tupou was omitted as he has a niggling ankle injury. Should be back soon...better to rest him now rather than risking further damage.

How good were the new boys though? Rose and Plum played strongly, as did Fa-aosso after a nervous start. Soliola was great for the whol match. Depth is looking good.

Rose impressed me no end and how old is he 22 or something like that - boy I'm glad I don't have to feed him. First time I saw Soliola play - I hope Walker gets used to Premier League - Solo tackled well and added a bit to the defence. While Monoghan was a bit quiet - doesn't he have some pace a nice try at the right time

Penrith will certainly test us this week.

Oh yes true ... but everyone's written us off. I see no reason why we cant beat them by more than 10 points, our forwards will bash them up (especially with 3 ex-panthers in our team) ... thats my special tip of the week, Roosters by 10+ ... get on it.

true, but i think it eases the pressure off the us a bit more.

just wait till firman gets his timing and kicking back.. we'll be soooo much better too. i think he really let the team downa bit today.

but i like our attack...i know we made a lot of mistakes, but they couldnt predict where we were going.

wing, flannery, firman as halves in attack.. should revolutionise and call it thirds!!
