Is anyone else a bit mystified as to how TV stu Dickenson is considered capable of reffing super 14 ?
Watching him ref the Tah's v chiefs game last night it was obvious that at times he seemed to think it was ok for players to knock the ball on. My mates and I have a drinking game where we are all allowed to agree with one of tv's decisions and after that whenever he makes a dodgey call we all have to skull. We are deadset half cut by the end of the first half.
We have christened him tv stu becasue it seems that he must make the most outragous calls to ensure his face gets on tv every game. Even when he is the touchie in test matches he has to run in at least once a game to ensure his streak of tv appearences continue.
Compounding his clangers last night is the fact he is a NSW ref controling a NSW game in Sydney. IT just leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Admittedly the SAFA refs are usually sh*t as well but at least they seem to be sh*t to both teams unlike tv stu.
