In our house we've only had about 3 all up. I remember the first one we had in our living room was ancient, and eventually the screen turned green :?

I brought a TV with my first pay cheque 8 or so years ago and we just gave it away to my cousin, about 2 weeks ago, still in prime working order.

I brought a Playstation with my second pay cheque.

If you buy a new one, make sure you don't get a Plasma screen. They look all great and clear and super duper, but what most of the salespeople neglect to mention is, Plasma only have a life expectancy of around 4 years, then the gas goes and your lovely new TV is nothing more then a horribly expensive and large paperweight.

LCD or Rear-projection are the best to go. ;-)

And to answer the question, 3 for as long as I can remember.

Nah I can't do that Twiz, I wouldn't be able to control myself ;-)
