will be impressive...

What stadiums in Oz to you prefer?

I think that the new Lang Park (or what ever the name some bank bought)... has to be one of the neatest rugby venues out there... action is right next to the seats, and there doesn't look like a bad seat in the place.

Sydney Footall Stadium is a close second, but obviously behind it if for no reason other then it is older and not as state of the art.

Still like Lang Park.

i wonder if they will fill it for the challenge cup final

That's what I was thinking. From memmory it's not too popular with English RL fans, but as around 40000 had already booked for the trip to London, and the finalists likely to take 15000-20000 each, then it should go close to full.

I haven't seen any AFL matches from the MCG since they finished it's renovations.... Fox Sports not only dropped RU and RL, but also AFL.... now nothing but soccer 24-7-365!

the new lang park just looks to be impressive with an ideal set up for top atmostphere for rugby

I'll try and dig it up for you but there is a vid of the final MCG reconstruction before todays game on youtube. I saw it today. I'll get it for you, just give us a hour or two.

cheers! I would appreciate it mate!

Definatly a class venue... that said, I don't really care to see rectangular sports played at oval venues. I've seen RU games (on the telle) at Subiaco in Perth, Colonial Stadium/Telstra Dome in Melbourne, and Woolongabba (aka Gabba, and pardon the spelling botching) in Brisbane, and all looked a bit sh*te with the massive dead space between the touchline and the first row of the stands... would think it would be even worse in person.

I thought the layout of Ausie Stadium in Sydney was inspired how they could make it a fit for both shapes....
