Cause Warrington is the happening place to be in the UK!!
Ahem...
Its good we are spending our money on youngsters.
No doubt if the Crusaders get a foot hold in North Wales they may look at getting some of the kids to go play for them which is fair enough. However it will be good for the national team if Welsh players play for more than one club.
Exclaimation marks a smiley AND an embarrassed clearing of the throat says it all ;-)
It is and it isn't. More Welsh youngsters at SLE clubs means less English youngsters being signed up. Good for Welsh RL though.
Yeah, the more Welsh kids in SLE the better it is for Welsh RL a la the Kiwis in the NRL outside of the Warriors.
Crusaders are developing Welsh players, Elliot Kear is only 20 and has played more games than he's missed so far this season, and they have the likes of Flower and White who have featured heavily too as well as other squad members like Dudson, Williams and Mills. They may also be getting some ready-made Welsh players in the near future, if rumours are to be believed ;-)I think that the Crusaders are still sorting out other aspects of their club, but in the future they should aim to develop Welsh players as well.
No!!
Its a lovely place. ;-)
Between Wire, Saints, Wigan, Salford, Widnes and Leigh we should have the area covered. If you want to play Rugby and your good enough someone will spot you!
Its good to be taking on Welsh youngsters, especially with the uncertaincy around the crusaders. Where they will be playing etc. We have a good history of Welsh players at Wire also, Davies, Batemen, Ellis, Harris and Briers for example.
