was this list compiled before salford beat st helens ? .
for my biased money the best centre in england is still keith senior in spite of all his faults. as for gardner on the wing thats an open invit for fireing the bomb up to him all day for the rewards that france will get off a winger who is known to be weak under a hign ball.
i dont know how anyone else feels but last season england only looked organised in the tri-nations when kevin sinfield played at hooker and as i see that team as its listed theres no organiser there as both halfbacks are fine players but not known for been able to dictate play.

England should not pick a team to cater for France's possible strengths, but rather a team that will break through them and score points.

If Gardner is the best winger going right now, pick him, he will get the job done and I would be very suprized if France get enough posession in that part of the field to target Gardner, and Id be even more suprized if they score many, if any points against him.

Personally I think England should pick the exact team as last years 4Nations final.
