Good day y'all. I'm new here & i'm a dedicated Roosters fan like most here. This is my first post.
Iosia Soliola is, without a doubt, soon to be a Kiwi International. Every game he has played this year, he has eaten up metres, more often than not with 3-4 guys hanging off his back. He has all the skills, including solid footwork, hard-hitting defence, a powerful leg drive, a brutal fend, the ability to draw in two defenders and offload in traffic, & enough speed to add sufficient momentum to his bulk. He has stood out for a while now, & he deserves more wraps from the commentators & fans alike. Tupou, Fa'aoso, Schubert, Catic (all four gave it their all against the Warriors, well done boys), & all three Paea's are also amazingly underrated by the public.
Also, is it just me or does everyone judge players on one or two incidents that have nothing to do with their skill. I have people who come up to me and say "Ryan Cross is hopeless" & when i ask why, they say "he gouged that guy". What does that have to do with his skill? He is (after Gaz, & equal with Berrigan) the best attacking centre, & deserved the Origin spot more than Tahu. Same with Crocker & Morley. People are like "they suck because they do high tackles", even though they are both two of the most feared defenders in the game, and can run the ball with verve & passion.
