i think this tour will be a true test of where they are.

they never seem to be able to back a good performance up. especially away from home.

the key for me will be the welsh test. if they manage to break the drought in HK... they could really get momentum by backing it up in Cardiff.

of course if they lose against the welsh after winning against the all blacks it would almost undo all the good work in HK.

even worse, if they lose in HK... and lose in Wales.... they could be in for a horror end of season tour which could see the end of Dingo Deans.

It's all about the 2nd halves....

AFAIK the Euro teams should be at full strength, despite the Heiniken Cup or other club commitments. With a RWC approaching it is to their own detriment if they field anything less than full strength sides in any of the internationals.

Italy, as usual, should be a good chance to blood players and to provide some extended game time for the bench.

Deans is here until after the RWC and I'd say he will go after that either way.

I don't know why you guys see Italy as an easy game when you seem to struggle against them especially over there.

well considering italy are ranked 11 and australia are ranked 2 with a coach with the best super rugby record which is the hardest provincial competition in the world, from a team thats won 2 RWC with players that have won WC that reguarly play against the number 1 and 3 teams in the world and play in the Super rugby series, against italy, a team that has won less than 14% of its 6 nations games, against teams ranked highest (majority of the time) at 4, who have never beat the wallabies, springbox or all blacks, both teams that australia have beaten on numerous occasions at home and away,

and when australia did play them last year, they brought an inexperienced team, so basically australia a vs italy,
but italy played well and deserved to win

oh and i hate the wallabies and hope italy win this year, but icant see it happening
