Two of the most maligned men in that team. Im so happy for their success. Absolute freaks on their day.

When they're hot they're hot.... I think a lot of the reason we bombed out of the finals in straight sets last year was that both of them were injured and didn't play. Both are guilty of having off days but they seem to be rarer lately, especially in Vatuvei's case.

Couldn't agree more.

Folau gets a lot of hype - but i just dont think people realise how good Manu Vatuvei is. Our attack would flounder without him in the lineup. He is one of the top tryscorers in the comp and he has missed 11 games or so this year

He really has cut down his error rate also. He only made one error today and he was terrific under the high ball again.

Ropati works well with him and their partnership is key.

On another note - gee that Mautulino is going to be a good player. I honestly can't believe he is a rookie.

Manu is my favourite player in the NRL at the moment. The man is just a machine, it's awesome to watch him just slaughter 4 defenders on his way to the tryline.

I love Manu and along with Ropati they form a great attacking combo though defensively they can be a little shaky.

There are days like today where they are gems, and others when I'd love to strangle them to bits especially Ropati due to in recent weeks constantly being thrown over the sidelines and giving posession away, but thank god he was doing alright!

Manu simply hasnt deserved the flak he has copped post that nightmarish Parramatta game last year. Have lost count of the times a player has made repeat mistakes in a game and has invariably been compared with Vatuvei by one commentator or another.

Dont get why he is always talked about as this Jeckle/Hyde type of player who is supposedly either hot or cold. For the most part over the past couple of seasons he has been a solid performer with a more than acceptable error rate. Having said that, he'll probably now have a shocker on Friday, so my apologies to all Warriors fans for just ruining our season.

Manu`s fitness is improving too, he`s better at scrambling in defense. But Ropati again wrong-footed himself on his try-line and allowed Folau to stroll in for a try. No excuse for that, it`s very poor balance and read.

As long as Ropati keeps creating tries he's okay in my books though- 2 out of our 3 tries came from great peices of work by him.

Manu is one of the best wingers in the game and maybe the #1 most dangerous in attack

I wish people could just say that rather than always qualifying it by referring to some perceived weaknesses

...and Ropati isn't really in Manu's class and can be very dodgy at times, but has a habit of hitting form at the end of every season for some reason

and this

Manu is an awesome finisher. I'd take him at the Roosters in a flash

vatuvei copped alot of slack for his first few games he played in first grade, i remember a few high bombs he stuffed up on and so on.

but the kid is a champion. im surprised with wingers like him, that best got the winger of the year award.

great player.
love to have him on my team... second to covell that is.

Ropati can be so average at times, but man he has some talent when he catches the ball and get some speed up!

Manu has scored 15 tries in 15 games this season, and is a true weapon. It was a huge mis-match with Turner, maybe they should've had Folau marking him.

To come back the way Manu has after a "shaky" start to his career is a lovely thing to see. Take a bow Manu, well done! What better way to answer critics.
