I like promite now.
I used to like vegemite. And one of my favourite sandwiches was crunchy peanut butter on one side, vegemite on the other, and lettuce in the middle.
Then vegemite got too salty. Marmite has always been too sweet. So now I eat promite. I used to eat peanut with promite on toast. And then I went off peanut. Ate too much of the poisonous stuff in 1997 and developed an allergy. Now the smell of it still makes me nauseous, which sucks because I love satay food, and that always involves peanut. At least it doesn't give me the runs any more. I don't think I'll ever be able to eat peanut butter/paste again though.
So for now, I like promite. On toast, or crumpets. With way too much butter or margarine.
But I like home made apricot jam with fresh thick cream on bread or toast best. =P~
