its official. micky v is the new crouch. when he droped the ball off the tap i thought we were gone. this week he made 3 errors. way to many for a prop forward. its starting to remind me off crouch dreading when he go's for a hit up and thats why crouch is in PL . if vella doesn't get realesed he brian smith should shoot himself.

Anyone could have dropped the ball in those wet conditions.

And even tho Caylo only played a few games this year, his appearances were quality and I'd put him in ahead of Micky too....but hey, 5th out of a pack of 6 ain't bad in a team that has underperformed most the year :?

Criticising Vella after last night is off the mark. Last week maybe but not this week.

Hindmarsh, Cayless, Morris, Stapleton, and Widders would all be above Vella this year, imho.

Vella made 2 crucial errors last night, but also was excellent in defence with 40 tackles. He didnt make a lot of impression with his hitups.

Would not be disappointed to see him go next year.

I think apart frrom the game against the warriors he was one of our better forwards and he stood up when he needed to. No where near Crouches shitness. His bad preformance last week was mainly blamed on his sternum injury and gthis week was in heavy doubt so give him a break,

That means he won't do anything in the next match. He 's not consistent.
You just don't know when he's going to turn up.
He's on 250k a season. I'd offer him 120k to stay, no more.
We need to bring Tsoulos through. This guy could be anything.
He needs to lost at least 5kg and gain a bit more pace, so he can hit the line
harder and faster. He doesn't penetrate the line no where near as much as he could.

Vella is feeling the heat with these new players coming to the club. Michael is going to have to play like that every week if he wants to be considered for a starting spot.

Yeh i agree with Pazza even though Smith and Vella are tight he would have most likely been dropped with Dykes and Morris if Cannings and co had not been injured. But I have always liked Vella. Just remember l;ast year vs the cowboys and our comeback from 22 nil. He was the one that lifted the team. His like Pearson. ReALLY REVS THE BOYS UP. Sports Ears prove this.
