Reminder on Change of General Admission Area
There have been some changes to the ANZ Stadium seating map in 2014.

Category 1 Reserved seating area at 2014 Rabbitohs games at ANZ Stadium has been extended. Therefore the General Admission areas have now been adjusted to Aisles 113 – 124 at the North end and Aisles 136 – 101 at the South end of ANZ Stadium. This is a slight adjustment to the bays listed for General Admission in 2013.
Burrow
Please be advised that only Members of the Burrow and Burrow ticketholders will be permitted access to sit in the Burrow in Bay 110. The area in the upper tier of The Burrow is limited and subject to availability and capacity. Please note Burrow Members are not permitted access to the Corporate seating in The Zone Boxes.
Burrow Overflow seating in Aisle 111 will be activated once the Burrow has filled and is able to be accessed by those in possession of a Burrow Membership Card or Burrow Overflow ticket.

TRANSPORT INFORMATION
Free Rail, Bus and Ferry Transport Included with Tickets or Ticketed Membership this Friday
With the match coinciding with the Royal Easter Show’s busiest day, footy fans are urged to leave the car at home and take advantage of the additional public transport services put on for the Easter Show and included in the event ticket. Fans should also plan their journey and travel early to ensure they are in their seats before the match gets underway.
All tickets to the Good Friday clash between the Rabbitohs and Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium include entry and return travel on CityRail trains, Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Bus Services, regular Sydney Buses (STA), Liverpool to Parramatta T-way buses, Sydney Ferries services and Light Rail services.
Trains
The closest train station to ANZ Stadium is Olympic Park Station.
Additional and direct Sydney Trains will be in operation to coincide with the Royal Easter Show.
DIRECT TRAINS

• Lidcombe to Olympic Park every ten (10) minutes from 0500 until midnight, extending to Blacktown from 0900 onwards.
• Central to Olympic Park every fifteen (15) minutes from 0800 - 0900 and then every seven (7) to eight (8) minutes until midnight.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

• Blue Mountains Line trains will make an extra stop at Lidcombe from 0600 – 0100.

Buses
Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will be running every twenty (20) to thirty (30) minutes to coincide with the Royal Easter Show.
Major Event Buses start running between 7am and 7:30am depending on the route and arrive from 8:30am until 5:30pm.
The last bus on each route departs Sydney Olympic Park at 11pm.
Sydney Buses will operate to a regular weekday timetable.
Route 525 operates between Parramatta and Burwood via Sydney Olympic Park.
Ferries
Sydney Ferries will operate to a regular Sunday timetable. Should services to Sydney Olympic Park be full, fans can take a train from Circular Quay Station.
ANZ Stadium is approximately a 40 minute walk from Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the Stadium.

Souths Reynolds looks for bigger impact

South Sydney playmaker Adam Reynolds is determined to increase his impact on his NRL side against one of the form halfbacks of the competition.
The Rabbitohs head into their Good Friday clash with Canterbury in improving form, having notched back-to-back wins following three straight losses.
Halfback Reynolds is a key component of the team and, at his best, is considered a NSW Origin candidate, though his form this year hasn’t scaled the heights of his first two seasons.
“It (my form) hasn’t been up to where I’d like it to be, but I’m continually working hard and working on combinations to get that right,” Reynolds said on Tuesday.
“A few more touches down there would be nice, get my hands on it a bit more and having more of an impact in a game would be nice.”
Souths’ return to winning form has coincided with captain John Sutton moving back to five-eighth from lock.
“He simplifies things,” Reynolds said of Sutton.
“We’ve had a combination there for the last two years and everyone is pretty comfortable in their role when he’s back there.”
Reynolds delivered copious praise on the Bulldogs’ halves combination of Trent Hodkinson and Josh Reynolds.
“Trent Hodkinson is probably in the form of his life – he’s playing unreal football,” Reynolds said.
“Josh Reynolds is having a great year as well. He’s a great competitor.”
While Souths have yet to hit their straps in attack, they will keep looking for improvement in defence after a NRL record of just five missed tackles against Penrith last week.
“We know our attack is there but we’ve still got to focus on our defence at the moment because those three weeks (when we lost) were unacceptable,” fullback Greg Inglis said.
Inglis backed Sam Burgess to stick to his aggressive style though the big English forward has copped criticism for some of his actions.
“Sam is an aggressive player. That’s what we want our forwards to be and we’ve got to let Sam play the way he wants to play,” Inglis said.
Asked about his reputation, Burgess quipped: “What is my reputation?
“I just get on with the football. I won’t change the way I play.”

Sydney's Good Friday showpiece match is upon us again and both the Rabbitohs and Bulldogs will arrive at ANZ Stadium with winning form for the stoush.

Des Hasler must have been frothing at the mouth before last week's trip across the ditch.

Every man and his dog knows how the mentor with the most luscious locks in rugby league land likes his teams: further under the radar than a stealth bomber wearing an invisibility cloak while employing super secret powers of deception learned at a covert CIA training camp run by Batman.

Putting 40 points on one of the best defensive teams of the modern era, followed by holding the premiers and the best attack of 2013 to a miserly eight points the week after is exactly the type of behaviour that's going to get you noticed by the NRL world, so last week's scrappy come-from-behind win against a rabble wearing Warriors jerseys would've been music to old Des's ears.

Nothing to see here folks. Who? Us? Contenders? Move it along please.

The Rabbitohs, meanwhile, have been happy to get their wins any way, any old how after dropping three of their opening four games. That they were thoroughly impressive at the foot of the mountain against the Panthers was an added bonus for Michael Maguire's men as they evened up their early season ledger to 3-3 and picked themselves up a handy away win.

With just seven missed tackles from 336 attempts against the Panthers (the least recorded ever since the statistics have been kept), the Rabbitohs have supreme confidence in their defence and it's understood those responsible for the missed tackles - Nathan Merritt, Dylan Walker, Apisai Koroisau, Sam Burgess and Chris McQueen, as well as serial offender Kirisome Auva'a (the debutant missed two) - have been spoken to and put on notice by management.

The Rabbitohs have lost a couple of key forwards in the judiciary wash up this week, with big George Burgess joining Ben Te'o in the stands for this one courtesy of a couple of one-match suspensions for tripping. Luke Burgess moves to starting prop to cover for his younger brother, while McQueen moves into the starting side, impressive youngster Auva'a gets a start in the centres and Ben Lowe and Joe Picker come on to the bench. The Bulldogs, meanwhile, will be without their co-captain Frank Pritchard, who is out for the next couple of months with a nasty pectoral injury. The in-form Pat O'Hanlon replaces the big Kiwi on the bench.

There's no excuse not to get out to this Good Friday showpiece, with all members passes and match tickets including free public transport on all trains, buses, ferries and light rail services.


Watch Out Rabbitohs: As to be expected from an in-form Bulldogs side, they're winning their games by giving the opposition absolute Buckley's and if Souths are expecting a hand-out, they'd be well served going cap in hand elsewhere. The Dogs have committed the third least handling errors (53) in the NRL behind the Storm and the Roosters, while their defensive line has proved harder to crack than Chinese algebra this year as they lead the competition for the least missed tackles (114) - though the Rabbitohs are right behind them with 123.

And despite a rare slip up from Sam Perrett that gave Simon Mannering a try last week, the Dogs have successfully defused the most attacking kicks of any team in the competition, scuppering 45 across the first six rounds. Perrett (23) and winger Corey Thompson (10) have been as safe as houses at the back, so Adam Reynolds and John Sutton may look to target Mitch Brown with any probing kicks.


Watch out Bulldogs: Sam Burgess - the big man has been instrumental for the Bunnies over the last three weeks, eating metres up the middle like they're a morning serve of Weet Bix - 188 against the Raiders, 200 against the Dragons and 179 against the Panthers.

Unsurprisingly he leads the competition for metres gained, averaging 181 a game (42 more on average than last year). Burgess also tops the NRL for most runs (123) and ranks third in the league for offloads (13). With younger brother George and hard-hitter Ben Te'o both ruled out with suspension, the Bulldogs can expect the big Brit to come out firing in order to minimise the effect of their absence.


Plays To Watch: James Graham to pick out some poor soul in the Rabbitohs pack and throw the kitchen sink at him (Lord knows what Warriors forward Charlie Gubb did to Graham but he was a marked man last week); The Dogs to have plenty of forward thrust from the bench – with Greg Eastwood, David Klemmer, Tim Browne and O'Hanlon tipping the scales at a combined 447kg.

Rabbitohs captain John Sutton to keep the defence guessing with his passing game both before and through the line, having already registered five try assists; Souths halfback Adam Reynolds to back his long kicking game to bag a 40/20 to go alongside the two he has already kicked this year.


Where It Will Be Won: Games in recent years between these two clubs have often come down to the last 10 minutes, and with the match on the line both sides will look to their X-Factor players – Greg Inglis and Josh Reynolds. “The Grub” (Reynolds) has recent pedigree with his match-winning field goal and try saver a few weeks back against the Roosters, while Greg Inglis's hands should resemble those of a clumsy baker given the amount of games he's pulled out of the fire over the years.

If it comes down to the wire don't discount two of the smaller men on the field either, both Trent Hodkinson and Adam Reynolds have won a couple of games off the boot in past seasons, be it from the tee or a cheeky drop punt.


The History: Played 147; Bulldogs 77, Rabbitohs 66, drawn 4. Souths may have won their past two matches against the Dogs, but before that it's been all blue and white, with the Dogs triumphing 15 times in the 22 clashes between the clubs since the Rabbitohs re-admission to the NRL in 2002.

With the midweek losses of key forwards George Burgess and Ben Te'o we just can't see the Rabbitohs continuing their early season resurrection (Couldn't get through an Easter weekend preview without a pun) and are backing the Dogs to get up by 4.

In the corresponding game in 2013, the Rabbitohs grabbed their fourth straight win of the season on Good Friday against the Bulldogs in round four. In front of a massive crowd of more than 51,680 fans, the Rabbitohs accounted for the Dogs by 17-12 in a match that had all the hallmarks of a finals blockbuster.

The match started slowly for the Rabbitohs with the Bulldogs opening the scoring in the 14th minute, but a barnstorming effort from George Burgess saw the Englishman carry Bulldogs defenders over the line from a standing start to take the team’s to the break locked up at six apiece.

Souths took the momentum into the second half when a brilliant Adam Reynolds kick hit the chest of Nathan Merritt on the fly, the winger entering the NRL’s all-time top- ten try-scorers list, before Bryson Goodwin sealed the win with a try eleven minutes from full time.

An Adam Reynolds field-goal just before full-time rounded off a well-controlled performance by the Rabbitohs against an equally potent opponent.
This season’s match could be even bigger, with both teams coming into the round seven clash coming off victory’s and positive form.
But there’s only one way to get the full experience this Good Friday, and that’s by getting out to ANZ Stadium and throwing your support behind your Rabbitohs! It’s easy to forget that Rabbitohs centre Dylan Walker only made his first grade debut in round 10 of 2013. But this Friday, Walker will experience Good Friday Footy in the red and green for the very first time, and he’s not alone.
In 2013, a then regular-season record crowd of 51,686 was on hand to see the traditional Good Friday clash between the Rabbitohs and the Bulldogs, solidifying the event as one of the season’s true high-points.
In 2014, Walker, along with a whole new batch of Rabbitohs will be introduced to the custom after Michael Maguire named an extended squad for the tussle, including recent debutants; Kyle Turner, Apisai Koroisau, Cameron McInnes and Kirisome Auva’a.
Joe Picker, Joel Reddy, Luke Burgess and Alex Johnston (all named in the squad) are also yet to experience the Good Friday clash that regularly attracts some of the games’ biggest crowds and will be ready to answer the call should Maguire need them.
Despite the excitement surrounding the clash, for Walker and his team, it’ll be business as usual on-field.
“We’re treating it like a normal game,” said Walker of the much anticipated match that saw the Rabbitohs emerge victorious 17-12 in 2013.
“I guess I didn’t really understand how big an event it was and what it meant to people until I saw how big the crowd was last year.
“I was there watching it and it was a really tough game – plenty of contact and plenty of feeling so I can’t wait to get out there myself and do the same. I think it’s become one of the biggest games of the year really.”
Although a relatively fresh face himself, asked how he thinks the newer inclusions in the Rabbitohs camp will enjoy the experience in front of what is shaping as a healthy Good Friday crowd, Walker had no doubts.

“We prepare well as a team,” said Walker.
“The boys have been playing well and I’m sure it’s going to be something we’ll all remember. But we’re just focussed on playing good footy.”
Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire recently praised his new crop of talent on rabbitohs.com.au for their enthusiasm and professionalism.
“I’ve been impressed with the way they went through the pre-season and just the way they’ve gone about their development,” said Maguire.
“They’ve been really professional and they bring a great deal of enthusiasm and that’s part of the joy of bringing in young guys – they’re really enthusiastic and it rubs off on those around them. Myself included.”
The seventh placed Rabbitohs will have their work cut out for them against a resurgent Bulldogs side currently sitting in second position, and coming off a one-point victory over the Warriors in New Zealand.
“They’re a big forward pack and we’re expecting plenty from them up-front,” said Walker.
“They’re a great team in great form, so we just have to keep doing what we’ve been doing – training hard, sticking to our standards and keeping the focus we’ve had over the last few weeks. We’re certainly feeling strong as a team right now, we’re feeling good.
“We’re just trying to play good footy by sticking to those standards we keep talking about, get those wins and be humble about it.”
Walker urged all Rabbitohs Members to turn out in force on Friday afternoon to throw their support behind the red and greens in what promises to be another match to remember.
“I really hope our Members and supporters get out there on Friday,” said Walker.
“Plenty of people bring the family and spend the day there and it just felt like a big event last year. I can’t wait to be out there! It’s going to be a great game and it’s going to be a great show, so don’t miss it.”

Despite Heated Clashes On & Off The Field, Sam Burgess And James Graham Are As Close As It Gets

South Sydney forward Sam Burgess believes stopping his England teammate James Graham will be key if the Rabbitohs are to overcome the Bulldogs this weekend.

Can you see it? No, neither could we.

Yet when it comes to one of the great NRL rivalries — a 220kg collision of pasty English flesh — Burgess insists it all comes down to cups of Earl Grey.

“Jammer, he’s great at making a brew,’’ the Rabbitohs enforcer insists. “When we’re on tour, he makes a pot of tea for us every night. It’s the one thing I’m really going to miss when I leave at the end of the year.”

International roommates since 2007, Burgess and Graham are set to rock the foundations of ANZ stadium when they renew hostilities in a Good Friday clash between South Sydney and Canterbury.

Apart from clashing violently back in June, 2012, the Pommy pairing are also alleged to have traded blows during an off-field dispute at the recent World Cup.

Yet despite regularly belting seven shades from one another, Burgess insists he and Graham are actually the best of mates. Rooming together for the past seven years as internationals, the duo also chat regularly, catch up for dinner monthly ... Burgess even going all Pat Benatar when asked about their battlefield.

“Love him to bits,’’ the Rabbitohs enforcer grins. “Jammer is a great bloke and we’re the closest mates.

“But I also love playing against him because he’s a great competitor — you always know what you’re going to get.”
And what you get is fireworks.
Like back in 2012 when, during a match the Bulldogs would eventually win 23-18, these two hulking forwards produced a clash so heated, the headline writers had no option but ‘Battle Of Britain’.
Having collected a spilt Steeden from his own in-goal, Burgess wound up, cocked the elbow and motored straight from the man who makes his tea — wonderfully oblivious to the referee’s whistle that had seen Graham drop his guard. Cue pandemonium.
Back in November, too, whispers again emerged of these two going at it — this time off-pitch during the World Cup. Apparently, the pair argued over a night on the turps which, following England’s shock loss to Italy, eventually saw Gareth Hock sent home in disgrace.

"But it’s funny what gets written,’’ Burgess shrugs. “Me and Jammer, we’re honestly thebest of mates.

“I spend a lot of time with him away from footy, catch up for dinner once a month, we’re proper mates.
“And for England, we’ve been roomies since 2007. When you live with someone for five weeks like that, you get to know them pretty well.”
How well?
“Mate, he’s got some weird habits,” Burgess laughs. “Jammer can’t sleep at night unless he’s listening to his podcast.
“That’s weird, when you’ve got to listen to his podcasts with him. And then there’s the brews ... he really is a quality bloke.”
Can play a bit too?

“He’s been mega for them,’’ the Rabbitohs forward continues. “Has been for the last few years.

“I always knew he’d be great but I think it took It took a while for people to realise what he brought to the club.

“Great competitor, outstanding soft hands and he does the hard yards when needed.

With The NRL Under Fire, Bulldogs v Rabbitohs Could Be Just The Game To Kickstart The Season

THIS just may be the game when the feel good factor returns.

The bumbling NRL has been under fire this year for lifting tackles, 81st-minute tries, poor crowds, refereeing blunders, ticket prices and television ratings.

But Friday’s big game though between 79-year Sydney rivals Souths and Canterbury could kickstart the season.

A crowd of up to 40,000 is expected at ANZ Stadium for a sunny afternoon game of footy on a public holiday with free public transport.

And the stars will be out in what could be the game of the season.

The Rabbitohs will boast Greg Inglis, Nathan Merritt, John Sutton, Sam Burgess and Adam Reynolds. Canterbury will send out Josh Reynolds, James Graham, Tony Williams, Josh Morris and Michael Ennis.
This game could help end a frustrating season for NRL chief executive Dave Smith.

“It will be a hard fought, close contest,” Canterbury coach Des Hasler told The Daily Telegraph.

“The match potentially will go down to the 80th minute.

“All their stars — Greg Inglis, John Sutton and Sam Burgess — are in form. They are being ably supported by their hard workers.

“Souths are playing with an air of confidence.”

Bulldogs centre Josh Morris was also anticipating a torrid afternoon.

“The Good Friday clash is always a tough one and over the past few years it has really developed into a game that players look forward to,” Morris said.

“We know they are a really tough team and Friday will be another close one.”

The Bulldogs arrived home from their one-point win over New Zealand on Monday and were straight back to work Tuesday morning. There was no rest in a short week.

About 125,000 people will be in Sydney Olympic Park precinct for the Royal Easter Show.
A third of those will shift into ANZ Stadium for the big game
“The fact that we get a big crowd off the Easter Show and plenty of our supporters are coming — it’s always a special game,” said Souths coach Michael Maguire.

“It always helps the boys to hear our members and ‘The Burrow’ cheering in the stands. They really feel the fans get behind them.”

Canterbury will have to overcome the loss of key forward Frank Pritchard, out for between three to four months with a pectoral injury.

“We have a good group of guys here, everyone is a leader in this team. So I’m sure everyone will stand up and fill the void that Franky has left,” said prop Aiden Tolman.

“Souths have a good forward pack. It will be a challenge for our forwards, but one we look forward to.”

ANZ officials are encouraging fans to get to the stadium early to avoid crowd congestion.

“With two NRL blockbusters scheduled (Parramatta play Wests Tigers on Monday) in conjunction with the Royal Easter Show, this is one of the most exciting weekends of activity at Sydney Olympic Park each year and the best way to get here and enjoy the events and atmosphere is on public transport,” said ANZ Stadium managing director Daryl Kerry.

It’s Easter already, and hand in hand with that chocolate induced buzz also comes the annual Good Friday clash between the Rabbitohs and the Bulldogs.
This clash draws plenty of attention on an annual basis, with tens of thousands flocking to Homebush to take in what is fast becoming a must-do ‘royal-double’ in the form of the Royal Easter Show and an afternoon watching the Rabbits and the Dogs go round. And what a time to watch them do just that!
The Rabbitohs come into the match having won their last two games after experiencing a small slump in form between rounds two and four, while the Bulldogs sit just two points behind competition leaders the Gold Coast Titans by two points with some gritty wins to their name.
But when it comes to defining grit, few could deny that the Rabbitohs’ defensive performance against the Panthers represented grit in all its forms. Not only did the Rabbitohs miss just five tackles in a match marred by a monsoon, it took 63 minutes for them to miss their first – an outstanding achievement given the weight of possession the Panthers had in the first half. Souths will be looking to replicate and build on that steel, and if they do, look out Bulldogs.
The Rabbitohs will be without regular starters George Burgess and Ben Te’o, but experienced first graders Ben Lowe and Joe Picker have stepped into the pairs’ shoes, a move that Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire has every confidence in.

"For us it's about just being strong as a team and going in and performing for each other," said Maguire.
"We've got great people coming in - Joe Picker and Ben Lowe are coming in and they've played plenty of first grade, so it's just about coming in and doing their job."
Maguire admitted to being impressed by the Bulldogs' start to the 2014 season, citing that his side will have to be on song with their defence to be any chance of victory.
"They're executing their plays very well," admitted Maguire.
"Between their forwards, they move the ball around and obviously with their halves, they're performing off the back of good go-forward. Defensively, we're going to have to be at our best."

Recent History
The Rabbitohs last met the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in round 24 of the 2013 season, surviving a spirited performance from the Dogs to record a 28-20 victory. The victory marked the first time the Rabbitohs have defeated the Dogs twice in a season since 1992.

Dylan Farrell crossed for the first points of the night out wide after some well-timed passing from John Sutton. Adam Reynolds added the extras to give the men in red and green the early advantage.

A high tackle on Bryson Goodwin seemed to fire up the Rabbitohs, who managed to go the length of the field with Dylan Walker capping off the advantage by picking up a well-weighted Reynolds stab kick to cross for the Rabbitohs second try. Reynolds made no mistake to put Souths ahead by two converted tries.

A penalty to Souths after a high-tackle on Sutton from Tony Williams, allowed Reynolds to kick the Rabbitohs two points further ahead – the half adding another string to his bow with the 31 metre penalty kick for the Rabbitohs to lead 14-0 three minutes from the break.

But the Bulldogs wouldn’t go to half-time empty-handed, with Sam Perrett crossing out wide to take the sides to the break at 14-6.

On the resumption, the Bulldogs came out rejuvenated, with Josh Reynolds setting the tone after the Dogs five-eighth almost sliced through the Rabbitohs defence close to the line. Mitch Brown capitalised a play later, narrowing the gap to four points between the two teams.

Souths hit right back with John Sutton putting Greg Inglis through a hole who in turn drew the Bulldogs final line of defence before passing back on the inside to Luke who crossed for his third try of the year. Reynolds converted to push the Rabbitohs out to a 20-10 lead.

On the back of three repeat sets, the Bulldogs finally crossed the line through Dene Halatau who survived a valiant defensive effort from Greg Inglis to get the ball down, bringing the score to 20-16.

Just when it looked like the Bulldogs might have turned momentum in their favour, Nathan Merritt got the Rabbitohs back on the front foot with a break, culminating tackles later with a try to Bryson Goodwin out wide. Reynolds converted from the touch-line to give Souths a 10 point buffer.

The Bulldogs wouldn’t lay down though, with Michael Ennis electing to go the short-side before passing on to Mitch Brown who carried two Rabbitohs over the line to plant the ball over the stripe to narrow the gap to six.

With the clock winding down, the Rabbitohs were awarded a penalty, with Reynolds again adding two more points to the score-card to round out the match 28-20.
Keys to Victory
As always, this game could be won and lost in the forwards, and with two monster-packs coming together, expect a fiery encounter up-front. Luke Burgess will face off with fellow countryman James Graham in what is sure to be a titanic battle for supremacy up-front, while Chris McQueen will go toe-to toe with Tony Williams in a back-row battle that could be a preview for Origin.
One thing is certain though. If the Rabbitohs can replicate last week’s defensive effort, the Bulldogs will struggle to score points. The adage ‘defence wins games’ rang true against Penrith, and will be a deciding factor again this week.
The Rabbitohs will need to be mindful of Bulldogs Hooker Michael Ennis as much for his ability to get good ball away over the advantage line consistently, as for his ability to get under the skin of his opponents. Expect Ennis to play a pivotal role for the blue and whites. Ditto for five-eighth Josh Reynolds. Reynolds is firmly in the frame for Origin selection and his form has certainly done plenty for his cause. The Rabbitohs’ outside backs will need to be up quickly on the creative pivot lest one of his pin-point kicks or passes hit the chest of outside backs such as Josh Morris.
Key Matchups
Chris McQueen v Tony Williams

Could this be a preview of Origin? They’ve both certainly done it before, but with the interstate series still in the distant future, they have each other to contend with for now in club colours. McQueen gets his starting spot back this week following some solid performances from recent debutant Kyle Turner in the top grade. You can bet that McQueen will be looking to hold his place down. Williams provides much to the Bulldogs in both attack and defence, but when the man known affectionately as ‘T-Rex’ really hits his straps, not much can get in his way. His vicious palm giant frame, are a potent combo that a player such as McQueen will be ready to take on.
Adam Reynolds v Trent Hodkinson

There are plenty of game-breakers in both these teams who are ready and willing to take the game by the scruff of the neck, but these two could be the most vital players on the field – particularly when it gets to the last five minutes. The Bulldogs have won twice in successive weeks thanks to field goals and you can bet that if Josh Reynolds doesn’t get his hands on the ball first, Hodkinson will be the next in line. Adam Reynolds though is every bit as good off the boot with his ability to strike them from virtually anywhere inside 50 metres. Don’t be surprised if the game comes down to these two.

It’s been a rough few weeks for the Rabbitohs’ NYC side. Since the beginning of the season, the team has not picked up a victory since their round two clash against Manly in Gosford. This week could however be the beginning of a turn-around.
The twelfth-placed Rabbitohs will take on the 16th placed Bulldogs in what is shaping up as a do or die match this early in the season. To the victor will go confidence, and for a Rabbitohs side simply brimming with young players with limited experience in the 20’s competition – a valuable commodity.
The Rabbitohs’ NYC are again without some players still eligible to represent the side, with the likes of Cameron McInnes and Alex Johnston both being named in an extended Rabbitohs’ first-grade outfit, but Coach Ben Gardiner is confident that his team is getting plenty out of the experience.
"The most pleasing thing to come out of the start of the season has been the fight that they've shown in games against teams that were a lot more experienced than them," said Gardiner.
"In the Canberra Raiders game in round four, we had something like 30 games of experience in our team and they had something like 350 games of experience.
"We were right in that game right until we got beaten on the bell which was obviously disappointing for us, but pleasing in the same fact that it gave some experience to our guys."
