The play that typified it all though. On halfway. Paasi gets a pass lumbers forward a metre and throws a flick to Leeson. A terribly inaccurate flick. No purpose to it other than bruh I can’t be arsed you have a go.

How long did Blake Green want to get that shot off ? He had as much time as you will ever get in golden point and mucked around with it

The line speed of the warriors in the 2nd half was disgraceful, just stood there and let Penrith make big metres

Put a fork in the season, Penrith had 2 in the bin, Warriors had some very nice calls but couldn’t get it done

Is it really pain though?

Surely I'm not the only one who felt nothing when Naden scored, Herbert kicked the goal and Maloney kicked the FG?

I'll be honest, I didn't watch. I decided instead to do the painting I'd be putting off all weekend. It was by far the more appealing option.

I felt the inevitable. It’d hurt if I didn’t expect it or hadn’t seen it before.

The coach must surely come under some pressure. Our attack is absolutely horrible. Our structure is let the three outside backs cart it forward and that’s that. This whole lessgo small in the pack is outrageously short sighted. The big money deals for Blair and Green are abysmal and going all bro and therefore signing Beale when we had 46 centres already is testament to how clueless he and the management team are.

Why did they re sign Kearney? Wtf? They were under no pressure to do so. He was not a hot commodity on the market. And I still scratch my head that Cameron George can’t have been having a laugh when stabbing Johnson in the back for the size of his contract when he’d bent over the club to get Green and Blair on fat deals. Blair being Kearneys mate. Green being George’s mate.

We are genuinely screwed in the toot. Missionary style. Without lube.

You took the words right out of my mouth.

Problem is I think the Warriors are enjoying the bum action and pushing back.

I cannot agree more. So much so that I have nothing else to add haha

The line speed is terrible!
I though Corvo was meant to fix our fitness?
I understand when kick returns are run by back 3 as normally only ones back there, but when all forwards behind the play, someone needs to put their hands up.
There is no shape in attack.
We have no footy brains, you dont offload unless the next player is ready and will finish in a better position than you.
Ken's kicking at death on halfway.
Play going left of post in golden point vs up the middle.
We wait for someone else to do the work.
The list goes on.

What about extra time. They kick deep. Paasi got back on side on tackle 4. He was having an absolute bludge of epic proportions. If you can’t lift at that critical juncture, what hope do we have?

And then the press conference. Stephen Kearney. Are you serious? The lad sits there saying he thought the effort was great. Every week you say the effort was great. If it’s great, then the execution slash tactics must suck. And you’re in charge of that.

He then proceeded to have a go at Michael Burgess for daring to ask him with the season in the state it is in, Will he be using the back end of the season to prepare players for next season. Fairly fair question I would have thought. But Kearney essentially took all his anger out on him when his players and sitting there without a care in the world.

Lazy be lazy. I’ve been in classes with great trainers. I’ve been in classes with rubbish trainers. No matter the trainer, sometimes some people don’t move forward.

Cleary said that the refs "knew that they had got it wrong after that"- which is a euphemistic way of saying they became very lenient towards the Panthers from that point on.

He should be unemployed, unemployable even... but they're probably negotiating another extension

Oh but the effort is good.

He says it every week.

If the lads effort is good, it either means your recruitment strategy is rubbish, and your coaching tactics or game plan suck. But of both is true but I can’t believe he never gets called on it. Always the same. The effort was good. Wtf were they thinking resigning his contract even though he still had time to go, hadn’t done anything outstanding (8th means you came middle of the pack let’s be honest here), and he would not have been attracting any interest whatsoever.

So we are either stuck with him or we cost ourselves by paying him out.

We can’t continue to have these repetitive poor seasons. The whole joint is rancid with mediocrity.

We're in a era where apparently meaningless drivel convinces many despite abject failure being the reality

He's f**king useless but apparently being f**king useless isn't a barrier in the current climate
