Touch rugby doesn’t include lineouts and rucks though right and has limited tackles? It is Rugby League.

I know Mat Rogers developed a variant of Touch Rugby that includes lineouts and I think rucks as well.

but in relation to nrl expansion (this forum) and west Aussie bears (this thread) and cooks tune to getting a side then I think some of cooks focus is strong in this, especially if you consider parliament breaks up in a few weeks. vlandys is probably trying to get it formalised this side of the year before the ministers go on holidays, that’s all

I doubt it, I don't read the local rag. Peterson on 6PR seems the only local guy with info willing to share.
Cook will be going to an election early next year, that's where the pressure to get this done will be from. If any.

It seems very likely now that the WA ”bid” is going to be finalised and announced some time next year ..the WA Govt also needs to also navigate the next election in March, so no doubt their short term focus will be on other things…

Not a lot new in this artIcle ..Ritchie has heard a rumour PNG is going to be announced very soon… but not Perth …that’s pretty much the basis of the entire story …
