I remember when the Bush were the team to beat in the 70s and early 80s .

Mid 80's we went alright when Marty Berry was around. A few other All Blacks developed there around that time before moving on elsewhere such as Brent "Buck" Anderson.

They were the glory days, things went pear shaped from there, we had one good season when Marty Berry came back to the Bush including giving the Hawkes Bay a hiding at Memorial Park.
