It's no coincidence that the Wildcats good form has been since Rooney returned from injury, he is one of those naturals born to play the game.

I think Cas will stay safe actually, their fowards are world class and should keep them in Super League.

I really think Harlequins will drop :(. Noble will keep Wigan in Super League and Catalans are safe from relegation. What happens if Catalans finish last though? Is it the team one ahead of them on the table that makes the drop, or nobody is relegated?

For this season only if the Les Catalans finish 12th then the 11th placed team shall be relegated only if the team who wins the National League 1 Grand Final meets the SL Criteria.

I think it should be an interesting end to the season by the looks of things, can see a really big fight between Wakey, Quins and Cas to survive. The quins seem to be able to turn it on for the big teams but always lose against those around them. Wakefield seem to give 100% every week but not often come up with the results and Cas well the jury is still out on them.

Seems like this is hotting up to be the best SL yet.

Oh you never know, if Salford can give them a run for their money just imagine what the power of Rooney and Jeffries will do! :D

When teams now play Saints we consider it to be a 'BYE' just as in your competition. We're that fed up of the arrogant scousers we secretley run our league from places 2nd to 12th . ;-)

Super League has made a gross error in my opinion in letting the promotion/relegation issue get this far. We HAVE to go down the road of franchise applications and approvals now, have to.

Amongst Super League's bottom sides are Wigan, who they would not allow to be relegated due to their size, Les Catalans who are exempt and Harlequins who cannot be allowed to go down as they would fold and we would lose a lot of money in the Sky deal. Cas are also there, but they are both small enough to be allowed to go down and strong enough to return.

I think the powers that be were secretly hoping that one of the rabid, flee bitten sides would finish bottom, someone like Wakefield or Salford, if Cas didn't. Someone who has few fans and wouldn't be missed. Salford seem to have genuinely improved and are only a stadium application away from being the next boom team in the Hull/Warrington mould.

I think they will have the prayer mat out that Cas end up bottom, or there will be a massively embarassing bit of adjustment to be done.

Salford would have won but for two controversial tries. First was definitely no try and the second must have been offside. Case of top teams getting the big decisions!!

As far as I know Les Cats are exempt from relegation till 2008

Must have been offside cos it was against Salford. No team is good enough to score a legit try against Salford.
