Walker or Byrne

Who do you think should be the other winger. Hegarty will be first choice.
I would probably prefer Walker even though he is pretty bad on defence but he makes up with it with his speed and attacking ability.

It might actually be Mini and Hegs on the wing with Diamond at #1.
Then Walker and Byrne will have to fight for the wing spot in Ivan's team....

Well, thats the 64 dollar question Jed. I actually don't mind Byrne as such and think he will have improved after last year. Maybe it was a case of second year syndrome or maybe it was a case of Mullins (remember him 8-[ ) making him look a better player than he actually was, in 02. As for Walker - you don't walk out on a club because they're losing. Simple as that. Yes I have a long memory and probably should get over it. But, having said that, Walker would and should make a team above Byrne. :x

If Hodges stays and Phillips gets the fullback spot, I'd put Walker on the Wing until Heggarty returns from injury. Then it would be Mini and Heggarty on the wings, Cross and Hodges in the centres, Phillips at fullback.

Todd Byrne....has some bawls....I would rather rely on him under pressure in defence than walkout.
