I was really looking forward to heading out to the game on Friday night against the Force untill i got on the Ticketec site $55 for a decent sideline seat. To me this seems pretty expensive, especially when I have Foxtel, so it looks like i'll be sitting on the lounge watching with beer in hand.Thoughts?

That is usual prices for sideline seats. Why not get general admission, those are around 35 or whatever.

I got a job with a catering company and used to work the corporate boxes as a second job, just so I could watch all the matches at the SFS and SCG. Great when your young and poor.

Why would I pay $35 to sit behind the posts when I can watch it from the comfort of home?

lol 11th place, real good.....

personally I can't wait til NRL season starts, cheaper ticket prices and the crowds are way more entertainingh than at union games.

There will be some serious fireworks excahnged on the field tonight,
should be a cracker of a game (f**king better be)

And half time entertainment is not bad.

They get a couple of blokes that have been on the p1ss for hours.

Stand them out in the middle of the field and then Shoot footy's out of
a bowling type machine and see if they can catch them, very amusing.

The Brumbies ticket prices are just as expensive and it's ridiculous. $35 for a sh*tty seat behind the posts (a Raiders ticket costs $12 for the same view), and more if I want to move somewhere better.

The Brumbies CEO has his head in the sand about the prices as well... he still keeps claiming that the dwindling crowds for the Brumbies are not due to ticket prices or a lack of success on the field... but these are exactly the reasons why people aren't coming anymore, ticket prices foremost among them. Three weeks ago I went to the Brumbies vs Blues game with my gf, had a terrible seat out in the pouring rain, watched a listless, defensive display from the Brumbies and paid $80 for the privilege. No thanks.

Aren't you a Queenslander? Those who live in glass houses.... ;-)

Don't go for Qld in rugby but I sure as heck don't go for NSW. I have liked the way the Force play the game- tries and expansive rugby!

Can't disagree there, at least thye FOrce try to be positive. I hope they beat the Tahs tonight and hopefully get a home win sometime this season!

Still reckon we're going to have 3 NZ teams in the finals this year though with the Bulls the most likely spoilers.
