A total collapse from Hull aided and abetted by Silverwood . Some of his decisions in the second half were atrocious . **edited out**. Not that a good ref would have changed the result . Hull need to stop reading the press and start concentrating on their own game . It's ok Raynor catching one ball all night and then pointing to his name on his shirt but Faa'fili scored three tries on his wing and could have had more . Horne can't field kick to save his life so why do Hull's coaching staff insist on giving him one of the main kicking duties .Several times he lost Hull vital field position through poorly aimed and executed kicks . He's another one who wants to start playing like the supposed G.B. international he is . Hull had the Wolves dead and buried they just weren't good enough to kill them off . All credit to the Wolves for showing great character but title winning teams have the killer instinct . Hull don't have it . Full stop .

I'm not sure about title credentials.... but they played a good 40 mins of footy, to make up for a first half which was far from fantastic.

When Warrington put together 80 good minutes then I'll believe that they can make the top 6, until then I won't get excited about them. Hull's loss of composure and failure to halt the comeback was Hull's first blip this season, it'll be interesting to see if they bounce back next week.

Warrington would be disappointed with their off season buys for different reasons, apart from Barnett, Sullivan i believe will be dropped to Academy league next week while Rauhihi, Reardon and Parker are all injured. They should go well with everyone fit and in form.

Good performance from Wire in the second half.

We had the game won and daft penalties in the first half piggy backed Warrington back into the game. After Raynors try again we choose not to expect the short kick off (which Wire succesfully won three times) and from that set conceded a try to go in at half time winning by 6 (which easily could have been 36).

In the second half Wire sorted themselves out and with the confidence level rising our defence just couldn't hold them out for long enough. I agree about Horne, his kicking game was definetley the reason we had the ball only in our own half during the second period.

To put it simple, we won it and blow it. Although to say we don't have what it takes is rubbish, we had a poor 40 minutes and a good 40 minutes. To say every time we were in there half we always looked like scoring which shows to me we have what it takes attacking wise. The defence seems to be questionable though, although a lot of Wires tries wouldn't have been scored if the defence was as good as I know it can be.

Here's hoping we'll bounce back next week with a big win and then show everyone we are capable of been title challengers with a win at the Bullls a week later.

Warrington were god awful in the first quarter on saturday, and that's taking nothing away from Hull's performance in that period, where Paul Cooke was pulling all the strings. and pulling us apart in the process. I think Lee Briers visably upped his game and dragged the rest of the team with him after Clarke's 'show and go' try opened up the Hull line around the ruck. Some crucial interventions by Grose & Kohe-Love stemmed the tide.

Hull coughed up far too much ball in the second half, and Richard Horne's kicking games was as bad as Lee Briers' was good. As far as i can remember Hull only started one set of six in our half and that was through Chris Bridge throwing a pass into touch. Warrington's defensive effort was impressive, and seemed to stop a lot of the go forward Hull rely on to give Cooke the platform to work his magic. It seemed that Hull lost thier discipline with a lot of high shot being called against them in the second half.

For the amount of possession Warrington had i'm disappointed we didn't score more points, and credit must got to Hull for holding out for nearly 24 tackles in their own 20 at one point. I still think Warrington have another couple of gears to find as Martin Gleeson, Toa Kohe-Love have yet to hit the straps, we are yet to see what Paul Rauhihi will bring to the table when he starts firing. If these players do what they are capable of we should have a pretty intimidating pack with potentially one of the most devastaing back-lines to go with it.

I get the feeling this season could be another fun ride.
