Warriors May Target Eagles Players
Warriors general manager Mick Watson is not ruling out targeting some of the lesser known names when the Northern Eagles players come off contract at the end of the season.
The joint venture has announced it will collapse after its last game, with all of its contracted players to become free agents.
Several NRL outfits have already expressed keen interest in halfback Brett Kimmorley and second rower Steve Menzies.
But Watson says they would only be interested in some of the younger and less well-known talent.
He says they are taking their time and are researching the prospects thoroughly so they do not come up with a dud
