Theres been talk in NZ that NZ Warriors are making room for a play at Folau by releasing Joel Moon, Jeremy Lattimore and allowing Berrigan to talk to other teams.

I agree totally. If the NRL says they will not register his contract, that would be illegal and a restraint of trade. But there's nothing stopping the clubs getting together and agreeing never to sign him.

It would be pretty funny if he ditched AFL before playing a proper game and said the reason was the game sucked. I doubt the NRL would turn down the chance to get him back in those circumstances.

Foolau's sporting career ended in 2010. Now he is just a little game's equivalent of Ronald McDonald. He won't come back to league for a simple reason, the game's speed,strength and skill requirements will have moved on by the time he comes back.

Foolau's legacy will be nothing other than an interesting trivia question.
