discipline was actually worse

defense was worse

hard to tell with attack although the dogs are a tough defencive side i thought there was much more fluidity and creativity in attack for the sharks today

i like the number of offloads

i get the feeling with last years stale game plan we would have lost

I thought there was an improvement in confidence, and just holding on for the win is an improvement.

But I can't stand this negative game where they are constantly trying to get penalties, and hold down for the maximum possible time. They spend too much time worrying about the referee and the scoreboard, whereas teams like the Roosters are totally focused on the game. I think Raper will change it, but it seems like it will take a while.

I think we played better against the Dogs - but its heartening to see the razzle dazzle football back - its what won us the game tonight - last week we were better disciplined and better in defence - but if you score enough points who cares
