Waterworld

I read a newpaper article about Kevin Costner and his new thriller. In that interview, he talked about the huge flop "Waterworld". He defended the movie, saying that people will see it as a classic as time goes by.
While I tend to disagree with him, I agree with him about the quality of the movie. I thought it was quite entertaining and nowhere near as bad as people made it out to be.

What do you think of "Waterworld"?

I thought it was good...Mad Max on the high seas! :lol: I think in some quarters it may be trendy to jump on the band wagon & knock a movie :whistle

I think it was was a flop in terms of overall profit. Didnt they spend something like $250 million on this movie??

it was terrible to be quite honest. i could sit here and point out all the ridiculous.. pointless.. unrealistic holes in the movie all day.. but then i wouldn't get any work done.

and yes it was a huge commercial failure, they spent a LOT of money on that movie and got dick all back.

Actually I quite liked the film, It was Just like Mad Max on water...

i went and saw it at the cinema and i dont think ive looked at my watch more times in that 3 hours then i ever have in my life, i hated this movie so damn much. easily worst movie ever.
