SL need to win to keep their very slim hopes alive, plus they need 3-4 other matches to go their way, very unlikely

SL 2/158 - 26 overs

Why would you bowl first when results in the main suggest batting first gets you the win on batting decks?

Windies will record the highest ever world cup chase if they get it

And I've got to say, with nothing to lose and against a pretty mediocre Sri Lankan attack they're a chance.

I don't think the Universal Toss will be holding anything back.

Pooran with an inspired ton, and while Fabein Allen was there too a huge comeback was on.

Allen run out in a huge mix up, makes 50.

Then Mathews comes in to bowl for the first time since 2017 and gets Pooran!

31 off 15 needed, two wickets left, but unlike Dhoni at least they had a bloody go.

What is it with TFC nuffies thinking they can climb out of their hole?

Anyway, good fightback by the Windies. Probably should have won in the end just about.

Remember when we all thought West Indies might be dark horses after towelling Pakistan in their first game? Haven't won since.

probably on par with who is gonna beat England? Who would have thought they would lose 3 matches and India not be one of them?? And yet not yet confirm their place in the top 4 till the final prelim match, and could still miss out?

As much as we hated the rain when it came it seemed to liven the decks up a bit, making it more a contest between bat and ball.

Gave Australia, New Zealand a helluva scare and could’ve stolen yesterday too.

But hey, same ol Windies
